The man strode alone out of Mathilde Castle, disguised by wearing a long cloak without a hood. Some soldiers did not notice Quentin's departure as the man left using another route, a secret route for special escapees.
Arriving outside Mathilde's castle, Quentin's eyes looked straight ahead. Despite already being under Helferich's control, the city seemed beautifully lit by the glowing lights of the oil lamps.
