Dusk Castle.
White Coast.
Hildemar continued to attack relentlessly. They had already crossed the border and were east of Dukshire. Thousands of Hildemar's soldiers stood neatly in their ranks, thickly armored with swords kept at their waists.
Not a single one of Hildemar's thousands of soldiers had been deployed to the front; there had been no sword fighting among the soldiers. Heimrich's soldiers were still confining themselves to the castle like cowards, waiting for the right moment to strike.
Hector and Kent smiled; the two lords of Hildemar were still standing in the front row next to one of the trebuchets. In this attack, the trebuchets did most of the work, throwing rocks at the walls or sometimes into the city.
"They're still reluctant to attack," Hector said, grumbling at Heimrich's poor tactics.
