The conversation between Hubner and Austen ended when Hubner had nothing more to say to Heimrich's counselor. One of the soldiers approached Hubner. He had come under Eros' orders to secure Hubner.
"You are welcome to see your family before you are confined to the palace prison!" stated the soldier.
Hubner sighed, agreeing to what was said, realizing he was already on the edge of a death sentence. Although Eros was not the ruler of Heimrich —For now— but his orders could not be ignored due to the psychological impact he felt from David's sudden death.
Austen watched Hubner's back leave the place. The middle-aged man walked into Dusk Castle carrying a birdcage containing a black raven from Helferich.
'I hope he doesn't find out about this raven. This thing might be Hemrich's salvation,' Austen said to himself.
He walked into the place and met Eros. To Austen's surprise, Lord Eros sat casually on the throne, crossing his legs.
