"They did it right after my brother ordered it," Eros replied.
The man stood at the window of a chamber in Dusk Castle, arms crossed with his head turned to stare outside. From Eros' view, he saw a line of city folk lining up to register.
Lady Salsa walked up to Eros after she put her 8-month-old daughter to bed. She walked up to Eros while smoothing her dress, a beautiful dress Lady Salsa had always been fond of.
"They do it when they realize being a soldier is better than being jobless," Lady Salsa revealed, hugging Eros' body from behind.
"Indeed, but do they know it's tantamount to signing up for death?" asked Eros back, speaking without taking his eyes off the front.
"They don't seem to care much about that," stated Lady Salsa.
