Quentin walked alone, leaving the first floor to reach the second floor, mostly filled with empty rooms intentionally reserved for guests visiting Calden Castle.
Sir Harold and Lord Geoffrey occupied one of the chambers on that floor, given that both were guests at Calden Castle. Quentin's loud and powerful footsteps echoed faintly on the corridor walls, drawing James and the Baron's attention outside Harold's room.
"Lord Quentin," James greeted, startled by the sharp expression on Quentin's face.
James and Baron stopped walking right in front of Harold's bedroom door, seeing Quentin standing outside Geoffrey's chamber, which was still tightly closed. James wondered what Quentin was doing on this floor.
It was unusual for Quentin to be on that floor, considering rarely any guests came to visit Calden Castle. However, Geoffrey was now temporarily staying at Helferich in order to train with Quentin to become a man.
