Eros, who had nothing to do with David, turned around and walked firmly towards the exit, about to leave without saying goodbye to David. For Lawson, it was tantamount to insulting David's honor as the ruler of Dusk Castle.
"You should have bid him farewell. He is the ruler of this land," Lawson replied.
Eros' steps halted, the man looked like he was taking a deep breath, then exhaling slowly. Eros turned his head back, looking clearly at David.
"Ruler, huh? After we were surrounded by our enemies, can you still say that he is the ruler of the White Coast?" Eros asked.
