Quentin invites Joanna to talk to him elsewhere, not in the throne hall, by adopting a formal attitude towards each other. Quentin and Arabelle decided to speak to Joanna in the rear garden pavilion of Calden Castle.
The three walked through the back door of Calden Castle until they fully arrived at the pavilion. Quentin called out to one of the maids nearby, telling her to walk over.
"Get us some wine," Quentin requested.
The maid nodded and was ready to do as Quentin had instructed. The man sat inside the pavilion, next to Arabelle, with his eyes fixed forward, looking at Joanna intently.
"You don't need to think anything about war. You need to organize the trade flow in the north," Quentin explained.
"So, the deal between you and Archibald is going well, huh?" asked Joanna, Quentin nodding.
"Last I saw there, trade was already happening. However, they are still confused about the distribution," Quentin replied.
