Lady Violet said goodbye, with a grumbling feeling of annoyance filling her heart after what Quentin had said. The lady rode off with her escort to catch up with Archibald's procession.
Quentin was still standing in front of Geoffrey as the corners of his eyes narrowed, watching and tailing Lady Violet's leaving from that place. Leonil walked up to Quentin with a face full of gratitude.
"I'm glad you're awake, My Lord," Leonil replied.
The young man smiled, then nodded his head gently, "I apologize for the trouble I have caused you lately."
