"We refuse to leave!" declared Harold, refusing to be ordered around by Quentin even though he was a prince.
"Sir Harold, you will regret your decision," declared the Helferich messenger.
Without lingering, the two Helferich envoys immediately turned around and rode away on their mounts.
Quentin, at the front of Helferich's army, clearly saw that the two envoys he sent to speak with Harold had ridden back. The attention of Quentin, Leonil, and the captains was drawn to them.
"What is the decision?" asked Quentin.
"They refused, My Lord," the messenger replied.
"Very well. As they wish," insisted Quentin.
The man shifted his eyes to the side, looking at Leonil strongly, "Order the entire army to get ready!"
"Yes, My Lord," Leonil replied.
The commander of the Helferich troops left near Quentin and went to the end of the Helferich troop line, giving encouragement and orders to prepare for battle.
