"All of them, My Lord?" asked Sir Dorren.
"No, only 20,000 men will go. The rest will stay at Calden Castle," Quentin replied.
Arabelle reached for Quentin's hand, grasping it so that it drew the man's attention to look at her, "Are you leaving?"
Quentin responded with a slow glance to the side. The man smiled happily to find that Arabelle cared so much about him, to the point of caring about Quentin leaving for the war.
"He asked for my help. I must be there to prove the help he wants comes and is led directly by me," Quentin stated.
"But what about the situation at Calden Castle? What if something happens while you're gone?" asked Arabelle.
The man before Arabelle fell silent, realizing he had become the center of government and so forth in this land.
Arabelle looked scared and worried that Calden Castle was left by Quentin as if this land would lose its leader.
