Three days had passed since the battle raged in the small town south of Mathilde. Of the four houses that were attacked, only three chose to surrender and would kneel to Helferich's rule.
Currently, the three representatives of the small houses were riding from their town to Mathilde, to bow their oaths of loyalty to Helferich. Although the three small houses had surrendered and bowed, the Helferich army assigned to them had not returned.
Quentin's orders were pretty clear to them. If their business in the city was over, then they were required to go to another city to help the other troops.
Currently, they were all heading towards House Knightcolt to help James' troops who were still negotiating with the family members of the small house.
