Calden Castle.
Lanercoast.
It was deserted that morning; the sunlight was just shining, and the snow was starting to fall, a sign winter had come. Lady Arabelle stood outside the balcony door, wrapped in sleeping pajamas and a warm coat draped over her body.
"It's so peaceful, even though war is raging in the south," Arabelle remarked, monologuing.
Lanercoast was not affected by the war on the White Coast, and the long distance of the battle was the reason. However, Arabelle could not ignore the other war going on in the north, where Hartwin was fighting with Archibald.
With the first snowfall in Lanercoast, Arabelle was pretty sure that the Northcrest region must have been covered in snow for a few days. War in winter was always unfavorable to anyone except the knights of the north.
"No messengers have come here yet. Did Quentin manage to win the war there?" asked Arabelle, anxious always.
