"Then I will also deploy my troops to protect me!" uttered Sera, not hesitating to show her superiority over Quentin as she felt she had a loyal friend who would advise her.
Carl didn't comment on that, either preventing Sera from mobilizing the troops or the opposite. Both of Carl's eyes watched Sera's face, seeing the severe expression clearly displayed on her face.
"My lord," one of the soldiers called out, confirming what orders Quentin was about to give.
"Do it. Call those who are currently at the main HQ," Quentin replied.
The soldiers nodded, riding away quickly from the outpost, preventing Lorelei's army from attacking first. Quentin was still sitting on the saddle, looking ahead.
"Are you sure you want to start this war with me?" asked Quentin, making sure as he delayed the arrival of his soldiers.
