Chapter 25 - Fury and Indignation

Magnus: "Hello, Andy. What's the update?"

Andy: "Good evening, Mr.Christensen. I've gathered some information regarding the individual who commissioned the photographer to tail you."

Magnus: "I'm listening."

Andy: "It appears to be a group of girls from your university. They've been showing an unusual interest in your personal life."

Magnus: "Girls from my university? That's unexpected. Do we have any more details on them?"

Andy: "Yes, I've managed to obtain some background information on each of them. I'll be sending their profiles to your email shortly."

Magnus: "I appreciate your efficiency, Andy. Anything else I should know?"

Andy: "Not at the moment, Mr.Christensen. But I'll keep you updated if there are any further developments."

Magnus: "Thank you, Andy. Your diligence is commendable."

Andy: "It's my pleasure, Mr.Christensen. Have a good evening."

Magnus: "You too, Andy. Goodbye."

Andy: "Goodbye, Mr.Christensen."

Magnus Hangs up the call and begins to contemplate the implications of this new information.

As Magnus opened the email containing the details Andy had sent him, his gaze turned steely and cold. The names and faces of the girls who had orchestrated the surveillance on him stared back at him from the screen, igniting a fierce anger within him.

His jaw tightened, and his eyes narrowed into icy slits as he recognized the individuals responsible. A chilling aura surrounded him as he processed the information, his thoughts consumed by a potent mix of betrayal and fury.

The realization that these were the same girls who had harassed Sabrina in her class only fueled Magnus's rage further. They had not only violated his privacy but had also targeted someone he cared about deeply.

Magnus's thoughts swirled with a tempest of fury and indignation as he mulled over the audacity of those girls. Their earlier harassment of Sabrina had already stoked the flames of his anger, but now, learning that they had stooped so low as to hire a photographer to tail him, ignited a raging inferno within him.

How dare they, he seethed inwardly, his jaw clenched with determination. Sabrina was under his protection, and he would not tolerate anyone threatening her safety or peace of mind. His mind raced with various scenarios, each one more severe than the last, as he contemplated how to deal with these girls and ensure they faced the consequences of their actions.

At that moment, Magnus's mind raced with thoughts of retribution. He felt a primal urge to confront these individuals, to make them understand the gravity of their actions and the consequences they would face.

Though his outward demeanor remained composed, beneath the surface, Magnus seethed with a righteous fury. These girls had crossed a line, and they would soon come to regret it. He would ensure that they faced the full extent of his wrath, sparing no mercy for those who dared to threaten what was his.

The sudden interruption of Magnus's rage by the gentle ping of his phone drew his attention away from the seething anger that had consumed him. As he glanced at the screen and saw Sabrina's name, a wave of calm washed over him, soothing the turmoil within his mind.

The simple message from Sabrina, wishing him a goodnight, acted as a balm to Magnus's troubled spirit. In that moment, the intensity of his anger ebbed away, replaced by a sense of warmth and gratitude.

Despite the storm of emotions swirling within him, Sabrina's message reminded Magnus of the connection they shared, a bond that transcended the petty machinations of others. It served as a gentle reminder of the peace and solace he found in her presence.

With a faint smile tugging at the corners of his lips, In that fleeting exchange, the weight of his anger dissipated, replaced by a sense of serenity and contentment.

As Magnus set his phone aside, the tumult of emotions that had gripped him began to recede, leaving behind a newfound sense of clarity.

As Magnus closed his laptop, he felt the weight of the day's events slowly lift from his shoulders. The cool light of the screen faded into darkness, leaving him alone with his thoughts and the memory of Sabrina's presence.

As he made his way to his bed, Magnus's mind was consumed by thoughts of Sabrina. Her image lingered in his thoughts, her laughter echoing in the recesses of his mind. He couldn't shake the feeling of warmth that enveloped him whenever he was near her, a sensation that lingered long after she had left his side.

With each step toward his bed, Magnus felt the tension of the day melt away, replaced by a sense of calm and tranquility. Sabrina had a way of grounding him, of anchoring him to the present moment, and soothing his restless spirit.

As he settled into bed, Magnus closed his eyes and let out a deep sigh. The events of the day played out like a movie in his mind, each scene colored by Sabrina's presence. Despite the challenges they faced, Magnus found comfort in the knowledge that she was always there, a steady presence in his life.

With a contented smile on his lips, Magnus let himself drift off to sleep, the memory of Sabrina guiding him into a peaceful slumber. As he surrendered to the embrace of sleep, he knew that, no matter what tomorrow brought, he would face it with Sabrina by his side.

.....

Sabrina's peaceful slumber was abruptly interrupted by the insistent ringing of her doorbell. With a groan, she rolled over in bed, blinking away the remnants of sleep as she tried to make sense of the disturbance. Who could be at her door at this ungodly hour?

Dragging herself out of bed, Sabrina stumbled to the front door, her annoyance growing with each step. With a slight frown on her face, she flung open the door, fully prepared to give whoever was on the other side a piece of her mind.

But the irritation melted away the moment she laid eyes on the familiar figure standing before her. It was Nia, her best friend and partner in crime, wearing a mischievous grin that hinted at the reason for her early morning visit.

Sabrina blinked in disbelief, wondering if she was still dreaming. Nia, standing at her doorstep in the early hours of the morning, seemed like an illusion—a figment of her sleepy imagination.

"Am I still asleep?" Sabrina muttered to herself, rubbing her eyes in confusion. "There's no way Nia would be up this early."

But as she moved to close the door, Nia's voice shattered the illusion with a cheerful greeting. "Good morning, Sabrina!"

The sound of Nia's voice, so vibrant and real, jolted Sabrina awake, dispelling any lingering doubts. She blinked rapidly, trying to reconcile the unexpected sight before her with the groggy haze of sleep that still clouded her mind.

"Nia?" Sabrina exclaimed, her voice tinged with disbelief. "What are you doing here so early?"

Nia laughed, her infectious energy filling the doorway. "I couldn't wait to get some exciting news from you!" she replied, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Sabrina felt a rush of adrenaline coursing through her veins as she realized that this was no dream. Nia was here, standing on her doorstep. Despite her initial confusion, Sabrina couldn't help but feel grateful for her friend's unexpected visit.
