Ye Ling was feeling drowsy and disoriented. When Chu Qin spoke, she had a moment of clarity and struggled to sit up. "Chu Qin, I want to go home."
Chu Qin led her into the elevator and watched as the doors closed and it slowly ascended. "What will you do if you go back? He won't care whether you come back or not."
Ye Ling had definitely had too much to drink, mixing white and red wine together. The alcohol was starting to affect her, making her body weak and unsteady.
Her rational mind told her that Chu Qin was dangerous and she needed to stay away from him. But the situation didn't allow for it. She tried to press the elevator button, but missed and almost fell to the ground.
Chu Qin quickly caught her by the shoulders and brought her back into his embrace. "Be good, Little Ling."
Ye Ling's mind was a mess and her head was spinning. She kept saying, "I want to go home, Chu Qin, take me home."
