The Moon Fall Stronghold had been breached on many fronts. Chaos permeated the air as soldiers and students clung desperately to their lives.
"Watch your back!" James shouted fear etched on his face.
Behind Mira was a massive Grade-2 monster with two thick horns glowing red. At James' shout, Mira's body froze for a moment, but she quickly recovered and tried to dodge the monster's attack.
Unfortunately, it was too late.
''Bang!''
She was sent flying, a miserable scream escaping her mouth. Her lower waist had a deep gash, blood gushing out.
"Are you OK?!" Dongmei shouted while battling another Grade-2 monster.
"I'll live," Mira responded, gritting her teeth. She covered her lower waist with her palm, trying to stop the blood loss.
''Ahhh!''
