Genevieve let out a loud sigh as she looked at Rhett like he was mad. He sounded like he was in love with her and was jealous she was meeting with some other man. But that wasn't the point, they weren't in love….hell they do not even like each other so why was he acting like this?
"You shouldn't act this way just because I want to meet up with my friends." She argued.
Rhett frowned, "Act like what?"
"Like you are jealous! You know I have nothing with Luca and even if I do it shouldn't be your concern because you aren't my father, or my brother or even my h….." she had wanted to say 'husband' but then remembered that they were married.
"I'm not any of those things you listed Eve but you should know that I am your husband and I have every right to tell you whom to see and not to see." He was infuriating.
"So tell me, my dear Eve, do we have a deal or not?" He asked with his usual grin on his face. He knows he has won this round.
