Those words resounded in Genevieve's head over and over again, she didn't want to believe it even though the words were clear.
There she had heard it. Something she had been hoping not to hear for years now after waiting for a long time. She wanted to know and at the same time wanted it to be a secret.
And now she's found out, her mother has told her the truth.
"Eve….aren't you going to say something?" Elisha asked as she watched her daughter worriedly.
Genevieve hadn't moved for the past five minutes but she was quick to take the hot plate of soup from her lap before she would scald herself.
"Eve…" she called again and then looked at Raymond.
"What are we going to do now?" She let out a loud sigh.
"Don't worry, she will be fine. She's just shocked," he said trying to reassure her.
