Lance parked his car in front of a production studio where the first few episodes of The Liar Husband and Lying Wife were being filmed.
Lance clenched the steering wheel as he tried his best not to put the gear in reverse and get out of this place with Madeline while it wasn't too late.
He turned around and tried to persuade her one more time, "It's not too late to change your mind, Maddy. You shouldn't be doing this, and I'd rather let you wait for six months or so before I can prepare everything necessary to start the TV show project."
"You can still prepare that project while I'm busy with this one, right?" Madeline leaned and gave Lance a gentle kiss on the lips. "Thank you for your concern, but I am fine. I signed for this and am more than ready to face anything."
Lance's heart sank when he saw the determination in Madeline's eyes. In the end, he was truly a powerless man.
