Lance didn't allow Madeline to reject the offer, though Madeline didn't plan to reject it, anyway.
She was just a bit reluctant to leave her mother and brother for a month straight, especially Nathan, because they didn't have a good relationship with their relatives, so he'd need to take care of everything all by himself.
But this opportunity was indeed too good to pass up.
"You can leave now. Don't forget to buy a lot of necessary outfits for the month," Lance suggested.
"Okay, thank you, Val, Lance. I'll leave now," Madeline said. She turned around, but before she stepped out, Lance suddenly called her name.
"Maddy."
"Yes?" Madeline looked over her shoulder and saw Lance grinning at her. He tilted his head slightly and asked, "Where's my kiss?"
