"Madeline, wait!" Valerie rushed to catch up with Madeline, who didn't even look back to check on the producer.
Valerie huffed as she finally caught up to Madeline. "W—Wait, no need to rush."
Madeline didn't stop, but she slowed her steps, allowing Valerie to take a breath before they could walk side by side.
Valerie checked on Madeline, who didn't have an ounce of joy in her eyes.
"I'm sorry that I can't stop him from coming in. He's the investor in this reality show. But… you should know he is here because he's worried," Valerie said.
"What is he worried about? He's the one who sent me in here, breaking his promise and expecting me to fail in this reality show. He even went as far as putting a tapping device in my bungalow," Madeline said coldly. "He should've stayed in Los Angeles, watching from afar and laughing at my misfortune, because that seems to be what he planned before."
Valerie couldn't refute that because it was the truth.
