Theodore went quiet for a long time after Madeline's statement.
Madeline expected Theodore to lash out at him for making fun of Angel in such a big event. After all, Theodore seemed to care so much about his reputation.
She waited for his response, and contrary to her expectations, Theodore suddenly smiled and said, "Thanks for giving me a reason to break free from that hag's clutch, Madeline Rose."
"You can show your gratitude by repairing your relationship with Lily instead. She's the one who requested Angel's downfall in exchange for her full support for me to enter the Grant family," Madeline stated truthfully. "You're her favorite brother."
