Inside Ephraim's study,
'My prince,the two soldiers you selected from your twelve army are back' Damon called for his attention.
"Ask them to come and give report of what happened.While you are coming back,get me one of my wedding invite" Ephraim ordered without lifting his head from his work.
Damon disappeared from the study and appeared back at the guards room.The guards who have been chatting and gossiping about what happened stopped when they felt their second leader presence in the room.
'Darth and George report to the study now,the prince is asking for you' Damon ordered before leaving the room to ask butler Kream for a wedding invite.
Damon looked at the sun setting before sighing because it has been a long time since they went to the black market for business.He doesn't even remember the last time he fed because the witch blood they have in store has finished.He quickly took his mind off that as he saw butler Kream ordering the maids in the garden.
'Mr.Kream i need a invite from you' Damon said when he got to Kream.
'Is the prince still busy,it has been a long time i saw him in the dinning hall.He shouldn't be skipping his meals even though he is busy' Kream said in concern as he walked towards his room to give him what he asked for.
'I will keep reminding him butler Kream' Damon assured him when he collected what he asked for and he disappeared to the study.
Butler Kream had always been the one acting like a father to the prince since his father married his mother.Even when the prince left the palace to live on his own,the man followed him.
Back in the study,
Darth and George knocked on the door and they entered when the prince ordered them to come inside through the mind link.
"So what happened in the market? Is my Euphy fine?" Ephraim asked them as he packed the parchments and rested his back on his chair.
'The soon to be princess is fine,she is with her majesty in the living room waiting for dinner' George answered him.
'The princesses and the lady of the house met with the four dukes daughters and their friend-Keith.The soon to be princess shunned them before we headed back home' Darth reported.
"Okay,you can go now" Ephraim said as Damon entered the study to give him the invite before going out with his friends.
Ephraim stood up on his feet before he prepare his magic and then he imagined the throne room in his head before disappearing from the study.
Madam Kathi stared at the forming shadow and the obvious fear of the royals and she also prepared herself for who ever is coming,the one they are all fearing.
"Who do we have here? The so called crazy vampire" Ephraim acted surprised when he saw the crazy vampire and her daughter who had just confirmed her suspicion about the first vampire prince her daughter is obsessed with.
"Don't you know to respect your elders?" King Solomon asked.
"Nah,not elders with spoilt daughters.You know your majesty,I don't bow to anyone".Ephraim said while hinting at Keith arrogance at the market with the royal princesses.Keith immediately acted innocent when she heard his insinuation.
'My friend here came with her daughter because you had been promised to marry her since you couldn't find your mate then' Aurora explained politely so as not to anger him.
Ephraim's cold gaze swept over everyone in the room planning to marry him a woman without his knowledge,when they were the ones that forced him to look for a bride in the human kingdom.Then his gaze settled at the so called girl who ached her back trying to show off her assets,the girl's name he didn't even remember.He looked at her green eyes that are not as innocent as his Euphy or as enchanting as her yellow eyes with the hidden purple tint,her lips that her not as full as Euphy's and her body that is not looking seductive to him.What is he even thinking now? Comparing another woman with his lady,what is wrong with him? Maybe it's because he has been avoiding her for so long that his mind starts to compare,he concluded before fixing his gaze at his defective father.
Keith who has been observing Ephraim smiled happily when she saw him looking at her without showing disgust and she nodded in her mind in satisfaction when he didn't look displeased with her appearance.It seems he likes her,she concluded wishfully in her mind.
King Solomon who felt his son disagreement even if he didn't say it out loud then proposed,
"How about you make her a concubine?" Ephraim emotionless face immediately darken and the room's temperature dropped after the king's sentence.Keith who had been happy before turned sad when she felt his disagreement and she clenched her fists in anger because the man whom she had used all her life to please,she even renovated her father's house just so it could look like his.That same man is now outrightly rejecting her before all his family without even caring a bit for her ego and reputation.
The whole family smiled awkwardly because they needed not to be told that Ephraim is not pleased with what the king said.Every one in the family knows about his hatred he has,now his father was telling to do the same thing he hated.Raphael who noticed the tension tried to diffuse it by calling his attention back to something else.
'Ehm,what are you here for brother?' Raphael asked while masking his fear with a smile.
Ephraim took out the invite before saying "I came here to give you my wedding invite but it seems you don't want to come,since you are here discussing about getting me another woman,more so without my mother?" Ephraim said coldly before making the invite float towards the king with his magic before he disappeared while the whole family breathed in relief when he disappeared(´･_･`).....
