Chapter 25 - Absolute Command

A malevolent sea of blood.

Blood Calamity.

These were words befitting what Alysia and Agatha witnessed the moment they looked into Satella's eyes. It was a fleeting sensation; when they blinked, those images immediately vanished from their minds as if what they just saw was just their hallucination.

"What was that?" Alysia asked, still trying to process the shock.

"An illusion?" Agatha responded unsurely.

"Creating illusions through eye contact? Is she some kind of descendant of Medusa or something?" Alysia blurted out.

"If she were related to Medusa, we'd be statues by now. But more importantly, look at that demonic energy. It's still rising! How did she go from a regular mortal to a demon with a creepy illusion ability and increasing strength?" Agatha exclaimed.

Alysia fixed her gaze on Satella, unable to conceal her astonishment. "You're right. How did she pull this off?"

"What are you guys discussing? Is my sister in trouble??" Austin said with a mix of worry and impatience. Having become a demon in less than a day, he wasn't entirely grasping their conversation.

"Whether it's a problem or not, we're not entirely sure. To confirm, we need additional tests and examinations," Agatha responded thoughtfully.

"Little girl, do you recall when you first awakened this kind of power?" Alysia inquired from the side.

"Little girl?" Satella sneered, pointing at herself. "Are you talking to me?"

"Well, obviously! Who else around here looks like a little girl besides you?"

"Are you sure about that?" Satella swiftly unbuttoned a few buttons on her dress.

Immediately, her large breasts jiggled violently as if they had just been freed from the constraints of tight, constricting pressure. "Phew, finally I can breathe."

Following this, she unraveled her twin braids, letting her jet-black hair cascade down in loose, flowing waves.

Subsequently, with a deliberate motion, she ripped apart the lower part of her dress, exposing a tantalizing glimpse of her long, slender legs, resembling the slit of a skirt.

In a matter of seconds, Satella's innocence and slightly childish appearance had changed into the likes of MILF.

"Now, who's the little girl between us?" Satella taunted with a smirk.

Alysia's face turned ashen immediately. It felt like seeing someone unexpectedly outshine you in the very things you were most confident about.

She then turned to Austin and said SMILINGLY, "Don't blame me for turning your sister blue, okay? She's the one who started this."

Austin naturally took his sister's side. "Everyone has their own merits, so stop comparing yourself to others."

"Take a broader view. My sister may have a mature appearance and temperament, but she lacks elegance and refinement, which you excel at. Her breasts may be larger than yours, but yours are far from small. If I were to emphasize, they're perfectly si—" Austin's speech was abruptly interrupted as Alysia stepped on his foot, causing him to shriek out of surprise.

"Ah!"

"You pervert!" Alysia glared at him and harrumped coldly.

"Pervert?! What are the two of you whispering?!" Satella growled. The demonic energy around her began to fluctuate wildly, as if on the verge of losing control.

On the side, Agatha had already noted the phenomenon on her phone. The note read:

Subject: Satella

Don't:

1. Don't provoke her.

2. Don't flirt with her brother.

3. Don't talk to her brother.

4. Don't touch her brother.

....

"What's going on?" Eris's cold voice sounded as she made her way to the commotion. She had been supervising the workers when she felt a terrifying pressure emanate from the front mansion. Without hesitation, she proceeded to investigate.

"Ah, Satella, we didn't do anything. Just exchanged some light banter!" Austin hurriedly reassured Satella, moving to her side and gently patting her head.

"If you didn't do anything, why did Alysia call you a 'pervert'? What did you do?" Satella shot him with a suspicious look.

"I swear I didn't do anything. Alysia just misunderstood me." Austin raised his hands.

"Exactly, what did you do for her to misunderstand and call you a 'pervert'?" Satella continued to stare at him in suspicion.

"This..." Austin was at a loss for words. His face appeared dumbfounded.

"Pfft!" Satella couldn't hold it in and burst into suppressed laughter. Her eyes, previously narrowed in suspicion, immediately lit up again. The surrounding restless demonic energy returned to normal.

"Oh, you're just messing with me?" Austin had a sudden realization and said in a helpless tone.

"Hmph! Who said I'm just joking around? I'm genuinely angry here."

As the two were engrossed in their conversation, Alysia came with an expressionless face. "Are you two done flirting in front of me?"

Satella stuck out her tongue.

Austin, on the other hand, looked unabashed and asked Alysia, "What should we do about my sister next?"

Alysia retorted, "Why are you asking me now? Just keep flirting with your sister, hmph!" and snorted dismissively.

Austin felt a throbbing headache setting in. Dealing with women can really be mentally draining.

Turning his attention to Agatha, he silently hoped she would take the lead in the conversation.

To his relief, Agatha still looks as devoted as ever. "Alysia, could you lend me a spare room for the experiment?"

Alysia promptly agreed and instructed Eris, "Eris, please show Agatha to a room."

Respectfully, Eris gestured, "This way, miss."

Agatha turned to Satella, saying, "Satella, you should come with me too."

Satella hesitated, glancing at Austin. "But I want to stay with my brother."

"Your brother has another matter to discuss with Alysia," Agatha informed her.

"What?! My brother and her? Alone?" Satella exclaimed, unwilling to accept the idea.

Alysia scoffed, "What could possibly happen between us? I'm not into your brother; he's far from my ideal type."

"That just means you have poor taste!" Satella retorted immediately.

Alysia shot her a glare as if she wanted to say something but ultimately remained silent.

'Take a deep breath, relax, me. Arguing with a little kid, especially one with a sibling complex, isn't worth it,' she thought to herself.

...

Five minutes later, Austin found himself in a spacious, empty hall.

"Agatha mentioned I had another matter to discuss with you. What's it about?" Austin finally had the chance to address the lingering statement.

"It's related to the Sin of Pride you just gained approval for. If what you said is true – that you immediately receive the 'Pride Rune' after acting cocky in front of some humans – it means I might be able to accelerate your progress even more," Agatha explained.

"Really?" Austin asked in a surprise.

"Hmm..." Alysia nodded and began to explain, "Similar to how I instilled fear in Officer Andrew this morning, I can also provoke an angry emotion in you. This ability is part of my ability set, Absolute Command."

"You mean you'll make me angry using that ability of yours so that I can gain the Sin of Wrath's approval too?" Austin understood immediately.

"That's right. If my theory holds, you'll naturally acquire the Rune of Wrath after the effect wears off."

"There won't be any side effects, right?" Austin asked hesitantly. He could still vividly recall the agonizing look on Officer Andrew's face. Even though, at that time, the man was struck by fear emotion, the anger emotion might be no less intimidating.

"You might experience exhaustion, but apart from that, there's nothing noteworthy," Alysia said casually.

"Alright, you can begin," Austin said after a moment.

He then watched as Alysia opened her mouth, uttering a word in solemness.

"Frenzy!"
