"Oh, he's got some Charms. Phew... I almost destroyed them with the Corpse Dissolving Potion," Alysia patted her chest, snapping Austin's attention back to reality.
"What are Charms?" Austin asked almost reflexively. Without waiting for Alysia's response, he continued, "Are those the things that can emit blinding light in an instant or provide sphere-like protection?"
"Yes, Charms are essentially one-use items that generate magical effects. Their effects were varied, some could generate instant lightning offensive magic, and some could be used to teleport. They're sold for a pretty high price, and this guy had several of them. Seems like his background wasn't exactly ordinary," Alysia explained while carefully examining the charms.
"Didn't he come from the Church, like the other two guys?"
