However, as she glanced back, she was astonished to find the ethereal arrows still trailing behind her closely.

"Homing arrows?" Eris arched an eyebrow in surprise. 

Surprised as she was, Eris never stopped moving. She even increased her speed to put more distance between herself and the homing arrows.

Irina's lips curled into a smug smile at the sight. However, her satisfaction was short-lived as she witnessed something unexpected unfold before her.

After seeming to achieve her desired distance, Eris abruptly halted her movements and turned to face the approaching ethereal arrows. With a momentary pause, she closed her eyes briefly before reopening them, a flicker of delight dancing in their depths.

Raising the dagger in her right hand, Eris launched herself at the oncoming barrage of arrows with explosive speed. It was as if there was a propeller on her back.
