And with that, we stepped forward, ready to embrace whatever the future held, confident that we would face it all side by side.

"Come, let me take you to my chamber," he said, giving me his hand. I glared at him sharply and inquired, "Are you planning to introduce me as your right hand man?" I asked him, and he looked at me with confusion. His eyes were small when he asked me a question.

"What are those looks? If you were to take my hand, your employees would immediately start gossiping about me. I don't want rumors to spread about my first day at work.

"My employer won't gossip. It's a strict rule in my company, and no one dares to mention my name or yours. Not only do they fear me, but they also fear Daniel.

"But still, why do we need to give others a chance?" I asked. "Once everything is done, you can do whatever you want; for now, let this relationship be as a boss and an assistant on the company's premises," I replied, shrugging my shoulders.
