"No, you can't do this," I screamed, and the next second I heard a screeching sound of tires. The car came to a halt, and I felt a hand on my chest stop me from falling in front.
"Maya, you are fine. Nothing happened. You are safe." I heard Zephyr's soothing voice.
I tilted my head and looked at him, who was looking at me with concern in his eyes. "I am fine, sorry," I assured him with an apologetic look. I can see the tension in his eyes.
"Hmm, drink this water," he said as he passed a water bottle to me, opening the cap. I nodded my head, taking the bottle in my hand. I lifted the bottle and gulped it fully. The cold water touched all the nerves in my body, and I felt the stinging sensation.
I gulped down half of the bottle and then gave it back to him.
"Are you feeling any better?" He questioned, tightening the lid of the bottle.
