Troy's fear was manifested through his eyes, looking at me from the confines of the quadcopter. Approaching with a malicious smile under the rain, I walked slowly. Intimidated by my looks, I sensed that all of them were afraid, knowing of the fates of those who dared to stand against me. Determined to end their struggle, I decided to deliver them painlessly to the next life. With Trevor helpless on the ground, no one could stop m
Ludwig suddenly contacted me through the radio, "Sir, Exfil is on its way. ETA, twenty minutes!"
"Roger that!" I continued near the quadcopter after responding to the brief distraction.
I found a metal plate lying on the ground. Immediately, I focused my concentration and bent it to a spherical shape. As I shaped it, I lifted the metal plate into the air, where it hovered above me. The loud creak of the metal as I shaped it sounded like torture, resisting the forceful change.
Shifting my view on the quadcopter, which was still grounded, I looked at it with the intent of its destruction. With the metal sphere in its final form, I planned to use it as a projectile to my ability: the rail gun. With this ability, it allowed me to propel projectiles as fast as fifty times the speed of sound. Electricity enveloped my body as I began to cast the ability. I could feel the static in my skin and hair as electricity as the hairs of my body stood up.
The focus point counter started to count again of my FP usage. A weird sensation suddenly invaded my head making it heavy. It was my burden to use my abilities, however, the trade-off was just enough for a power that I could unleash.

While I concentrated on my casting, my vision suddenly weakened. My heart palpitated and my arms were weary. Darkness blotted my vision and was restrained by an unknown force. My body felt so tight with the invisible restraints that I felt like being crushed.
A familiar voice suddenly shouted at me, "Elios, that's enough!"
My vessel, Shayne rebelled against me. I was surprised at first but later found his actions as absurd. It's not even funny for a weak human like him trying to stop me. This made me insulted as a result of him aggravating me.
"You are quite something, boy!" I scolded him as I tried to break myself from the bondage, "Did the All-father tell you?" I accused him as I was struggling to move.
"No, it's not the All-Father but me alone!" Shayne in defiance stood firm.
I concentrated on the system to inquire about what was happening. The system displayed an important message and said...
--------------------
Greetings, Lord Elios!
I have an important message for you: Please be aware that even though your vessel may be inactive, it is still able to see and feel everything you do. Remember that while you may be immortal, your vessel is not. It can also sense your emotions, memories, and future actions. It is always advisable to use restraint when interacting with your vessel, as any rebellion on its part could restrict your actions.
----------------
This is nonsense! Vessels should remain one and not interfere with my plans. This problem will result in catastrophes in the future. I cursed the all-father for the inconvenience that he did to me.
Shayne should possess a very strong psyche and mind, sufficient to restrain me. Despite the dark surroundings, I could see him. His black hair and brown eyes were filled with determination. Undaunted by my presence.
"I will not allow you to kill them, not with that kid onboard!" Shayne warned me about harming the CEO's daughter.
"Look, you corporate slave!" I yelled then continued, "That brat, if she were your boss would trod on you like a rag! Yet, here you are trying to help that scum?" I mocked him for his hesitance.
"Do not compare me to you, monster!" Shayne rebutted, "She may be cruel and lead a cruel life, but it is not my responsibility to deliver judgment to her!"
Hearing the absurdity of his words I laughed, unable to comprehend his point, "Look, you would rather lick the toes of that dirty rascal than preserve your dignity!? You are one of a kind!"
Gathering my strength, I tried to free myself of my bondage. Concentrating the invisible chains glowed brightly, seeing this Shayne looked worried at first. All of a sudden, it suddenly felt tight as I struggled like it was crushing me through force.
It was an inconvenience to my plans. I could not allow weaklings to stop me, or teach me what to do! In an act of defiance, I gathered my thoughts again. However, the heavy and strange sensation in my head prevented me from summoning the system.
"Not a chance!" Shayne stopped me by sheer will.
"Persistent, are we?" I replied to Shayne, trying to regain control of myself.
My mind became foggy and my body, weak. A familiar voice of a woman called me and said, "Be strong Elios, do not let a vessel defeat you!" with a faint sensation from my hand, my head became clear. The bind on my body loosened and enabled me to break free.
I was sure it was Thalia's voice that called me. Helping me break free, I had to thank her. I had some business with Shayne, who needed to be taught some lessons.
"You have some nerve!" I commented and raised my hands against him.
Without any second thought, Shayne told me, "Do it!"
Is this person not afraid of his safety? With a swipe of my hand, I can break his neck. I wondered what drove this person to resist me. Having a person with such convictions in life with an unbreakable spirit is far more powerful than a ten-thousand-year-old immortal. I hesitated and realized that it was not worth it.
"Had enough?" Shayne asked.
It is an irony that my fury had been stopped by this puny human being. Losing all my rage, my rational thinking returned to me. Being consumed by my anger made me a rampaging beast, something that characterized these humans. However, these people were different from the scourge we had at Kaspoin, my world.
"I just cannot let them go..." I spoke gently, reflecting on what I did.
"I will not allow you to kill innocents!" Shayne replied to me and sat in a corner, "That's why I had to stop you."
"Innocent? You know nothing, boy!" I rebutted his claims.
"I don't know any of your experiences but, it would rather be dishonorable to kill someone who cannot defend themselves!" Shayne explained which made me realize something.
I paused for a while, contemplating his words about humanity. "Fine!" The only word that came out of my mouth. I conceded the idea of killing everyone on the quadcopter.
"The sound of the quadcopter's rotors slicing through the air grew louder. The wind it generated felt strong as it began to hover in the air. Upon regaining my senses, I realized that I had lost track of time while in Shayne's realm.
As the quadcopter faced south, it began to move away from where I stood. With Shayne's words earlier, I decided to let them escape. There's no honor in killing an innocent. It was not my doing.
Ludwig radioed me and asked, "Sir, can you hear me!?"
"Yes, I can!" I replied, recovering my thoughts.
"The enemy had escaped, shall we do a pursuit?" Ludwig recommended.
"No, let them be. We have more things to do." I replied, conceding the idea of chasing them.
"The exfil by the way is five minutes away. Keep in mind that law enforcement is getting close to your location." Ludwig warned me.
"I understand!" I replied, then ended the transmission.
As I waited on the platform, the sound of our quadcopter arrived. Looking at the city lights, I appreciated its unique beauty and how the light shaped the evening sky was fascinating. As I stood up from the ledge, the rain finally stopped. When the quadcopter landed, I immediately boarded and told the pilot to go home. Being able to rest in my flat was something I was longing for.
Law enforcement suddenly barged , but as they arrived at the helipad, we were already in the air and departed several meters away. The police, unable to do anything as we escaped and headed to our headquarters. From my view of the quadcopter, I could see them frustrated, unable to catch me.
I had achieved some of my objectives that day.
However, I felt that my victory was short lived. There were something else left to do to complete it. Thinking of my next move, Triton PMC would be the next. My delivery of vengeance for them would be swift and efficient. With Trevor down, what remained were Troy and Andre. If they ever believed in their gods, they should start by now. For when I was to come to their doorsteps. There would be no stopping me.
