Chapter 81 - No Equipment

Ace quickly finds himself in a small room with a note on a table next to him.

It reads "For you to compete in the first challenge you must only bring 2 pieces of equipment with you. The rest of your gear can be put into the magic chest behind you."

Ace looks around the bare room and sees a chest. Quickly Ace looks at all of his gear deciding to take his Fanged Fire Wyvern Gloves (B-Rank) and Emerald Fire Armour Set (A-Rank).

Ace picking these items based on defensive and offensive abilities while also allowing him to not show his full strength without weakening him too much.

Class:

Elemologist

Rank: D-Rank

Description: Elemologist is a class available to those who obtain the ability to use all elements, this class is extremely rare but are also known to not be very strong due to a lack of expertise.

Bonuses:

+10% Damage with all element based attacks

+100 Soul

Skills:

Aura Condensing

Description: the user condenses their aura into a dense layer over their skin that increases their physical abilities but consumes stamina at an alarming rate.

Earth Absorption

Description: Single time use. The user uses all earth elements within them causing 10 times the users Defence and Strength for 1 minute. The user can't use any earth blessings or skills for 24 hours after using this skill.

Element Foundation V1

Description: The User can sense all elements in the surrounding area. The user also deals 25% more damage with Fire, Water, Earth and Wind element blessings, skills, origin powers and weapons.

Lightning Haste

Description: Upon activation the user absorbs lightning elements to increase their speed stat by 10 times. This lasts 2 hours and can be used every 6 hours.

Power level: Origin (1.25/100)

Class: Element (Earth)

Description: The users max Defence and strength is increased. The user can activate this origin power to greatly increase the users Defence, Soul, and Strength stat. Once the user has activated this origin power it will rapidly drain stamina from the user till the user runs out of stamina and can't sustain this power.

Spiky Meteor shield

Power level 20 (+1)

Class: element (metal) and (Earth)

Description: summon a shield that is made out of pure metal elements. It can withstand a meteor strike. Using pure Earth elements the shield is covered in spikes dealing Soul damage based on the users Soul stat

Class: enhancement

Description: once per 12 hours for 4 hours all the users stats are times'd by 2.75.

Heaven's healing

power level 20

Class: Support and element (Holy)

Description: The user can activate this to effect themselves and allies in a 100 metre radius. Upon activation all poison and bleeding effects will be removed, and 100 HP will be restored to allies. when activated you will heal 20% total HP every second for 10 seconds. Can restore lost limbs once per week.

Soul Hardening

Class: Enhancement

Description: doubles the users Soul stat. Passive blessing (always active)

Poison Bullet

Power level 13

Class: Element (earth)

Description: the user can shoot darts of poison at a target the poison reduces the targets defence stat by 650 points and reduces the targets stamina by 300 points.

Increased drop rate

Class: support

Description: The user has a 5% chance to get a special drop or to get double the drops.

Forest Guardian

Power level 7

Class: element (earth)

Description: leaves and vines cover the user as ethereal roots and hard vines cover the user like heavy armour. This last for 2 hours and uses stored earth elements to cast. The effects are random depending on the soul quantity of the forest the user is bound to.

Curse: the user is bound to a forest of choice (Death Forest) if the user uses a fire blessing in or around that Forest the user will die. The user also reduces their healing abilities while the blessing is activated.

Skeleton General

Power level 3

Class: Control

Description: the user can raise 3 undead golems of their desire, but it's combat rating must be no more than half the user's combat rating. The golem can't have any blessings. (Level 154 undead golem)

Mystic snare

Power level 11

Class: Support

Description: The user can snare a target they can see for 11 seconds, fails if the targets Soul stat is higher than the users.

Metal's Tempering

Power Level 7 (+1)

Class: Enhancement and element (Metal)

Description: The user uses metal elements to enhance their HP by 800 points and their Defence by 3.4 times (To the nearest 25) (Passive blessing)

Strong Lungs

Power Level 3

Class: Enhancement

Description: The user can take in more oxygen boosting their stamina by 300 points.

Water Blade

Power level 6

Class: Element (Water)

Description: The user can summon and fire blades of water elements at a target controlling up to 6 at a time.

The user deals 5% thorns damage to enemies.

Special Abilities:

Secret Fire Spine Ability

Description: the user can only use this ability once per week. The user once activated loses all defensive capabilities, but all of their offensive Blessings and stats get a two times boost. This ability lasts till the user takes a hit or two hours pass.

Fanged Fire Wyvern Gloves (B-Rank)

Bonuses:

The user deals 25% extra with unarmed attacks.

The user can deflect fire element attacks with a power level of 8 or lower with their hands. Armour Set (A-Rank)

The user is protected from all blessings power level 5 or lower.

The user gains two times all stats when all of the Emerald Fire Gear is equipped.

Ace feels his strength lower as he takes off the various gear.

After being left with only basic clothing and two pieces of equipment Ace puts the rest in the chest. As the chest closes a door forms in the wall. Ace opens the door and walks through it finding himself in arena all ten of the dragons up in the stage watching. Ace looks at the other side and sees a bright red haired girl. Ace can clearly see a surge of fire element flowing from her. Ace predicts that her power level must be in the mid to high 300's.

Ace gets into a fighting pose and ready. 

The bell rings and within the blink of an eye multiple fire balls land on Ace causing an explosion. the red haired girl laughs and scoffs as she walks away.

Ace finds himself in an explosion dealing very little damage to him. "Her soul stat must be low if an attack like that did nothing." he thinks. Ace walks out of the explosion brushing of dirt off his clothes and armour.

The girl looked shocked at the outcome, furious she launched multiple other fire element attacks of the same type. Ace keeps on walking through them like they are nothing causing her to be more enraged with Ace.

Ace arrives next to her and says "You need to try other methods of attack and raise your soul stat, Your attacks have potential but almost no power." Ace activates Mystic snare to stop her from running, with a few solid punches Ace knocks her out.

After the fight ends he finds himself in a larger room with a bed and desk. The chest lays at the foot of the bed, Ace opens it finding all of his gear in there he equips it as a note forms on the desk. It reads "Equip your gear and rest, you and 15 others will make it to the second round tomorrow. One of our care takers will be around shortly to give you food and drinks as well as take you to your official room."
