Chapter 823 - Chapter 561 Marvel Schiller's Every Plan Ends Up...(Part 2) _2

This was what the Asgardians hated the most, as it had caused several human tragedies in the past. Had Odin not ruthlessly annihilated those civilizations, instilling fear in others, there might still be innocent Asgardians being deceived emotionally and physically.

Similarly, this was one of Thor's absolute no-go zones, especially when the victim was his own sister.

Thor was enraged like never before, feeling furthest than ever from his typical calm self. He deployed his power without any reservations, with the sole aim of annihilating Stark, the despicable deceiver.

The clash of two peak Demon Gods of the Singular Universe was catastrophic to any universe, yet, this was just the tip of the iceberg.

The battle between Thor and Stark was severe. They swept across countless dimensions, their energies entwining in the starry cosmos.

Meanwhile, Sif, who had finally come to some resolution, was in a Dark Dimension not far from Asgard, practicing her swordsmanship on a small asteroid belt.

The so-called dimensional trials involved finding a wide-open space where one could unleash their power, continuously challenging the upper limit of divine power their bodies could store. This was how Asgardians elevated their strength.

No sooner had Sif swung her sword than the dimension in front of her shattered. Puzzled, she looked at her hand, mistakenly convinced she'd had a sudden enlightenment. However, the shattered dimensional fragments increased, and Sif, momentarily stunned, lost her best chance to escape. She was blown away by a fearsome blast wave.

This wasn't a light hit. The Symbiote Phantom inhabiting Sif's body screamed. It didn't even have time to ask what happened before it urgently started repairing Sif's body.

Aesir's bodies were not easy to heal. The injury dealt by the Destroyer hadn't fully recovered and now, Sif was injured even more.

Meanwhile, Frigga, who was residing in the Fairy Palace, suddenly frowned. She had placed a mark on Sif, fearing that she might not come to terms with their previous conversation. However, the mark had just shattered, indicating that Sif was indeed in danger. Frigga quickly pinpointed Sif's location, opened a portal and found Sif lying amidst broken dimensional shards.

Frigga was instantly fuming because she felt Thor's lingering aura.

From her perspective, Sif was probably still upset and had sought out Thor. Their argument must have escalated into a physical fight, with Thor hurting Sif. It wasn't the first time Thor had done such a thing. Previously, he often injured others during duels. Though Frigga thought Thor had matured, he had harshly hurt Sif, who he grew up with.

Frigga was already feeling guilty towards Sif because Odin had changed his mind. Almost all Asgardians knew that Sif was destined to be the future Queen of Gods. If she wasn't the one to marry Thor, Frigga would probably be criticized by all Asgardians, making the wedding a difficult affair.

While dealing with her guilt, Thor dared to harm Sif. Frigga was infuriated.

She took out her magic wand, which she hadn't used in a long time, shimmering with magical light, she followed Thor's residual aura.

Meanwhile, Mephisto, who typically idled near Earth, was passing by Earth's dimension for the two hundredth time as usual.

As he was engrossed in calculating his recent earnings, suddenly, a massive figure shot past him, giving Mephisto quite a shock.

Mephisto, after spinning around twice in his place, shook his head and turned to look at the departing figure, pondering, "Isn't that the one who had recently ascended... What's his name, Iron Man? Where is he rushing off to in such a hurry?"

Before he had finished speaking, another huge shadow darted past him, giving Mephisto another shock. After spinning twice in the opposite direction, he stamped his hooves, put his hands on his hips and mused, "Asgard's new king Thor? What are they doing? Having a car race?"

This scene seems vaguely familiar..." Mephisto scratched his chin and said, "Last time, wasn't it me and The Ancient One?"

"Wait a minute, what time is it on Earth now? Let me see... Winter, November, isn't that Christmas thing coming up? Oh, I get it!"

Having this sudden realization, Mephisto immediately grabbed his phone, dialed a number and said, "Hello? Dormammu? Did you see those two guys racing in the cosmos? Hurry! The Holy Sanctuary's Christmas present is here! ...What?? You're still full? What nonsense are you spouting, the Dark Dimension can't be full???"

After hanging up the phone, Mephisto shook his head in disappointment. The forever hungry Dormammu had just said he had eaten too much and wanted to digest a bit, hence he wouldn't participate this time.

He sighed, shaking his head and continued to dial the phones of the Major Demons. The responses were all similar - they really had too many membership gifts and couldn't eat them all.

From a human's perspective, receiving a membership gift three times a year was rather acceptable, making them seem like a compassionate, but not overly generous, operator. However, from the perspective of the Demon Gods, this was equivalent to three feasts in a second – overeating was inevitable.

There were a few criteria for Demon Gods to absorb energy - if it was similar to their property, it was like eating a cake, but if it was opposite or conflicting, it hurt like biting into a pebble even though one could digest it.

Membership gifts were given out so frequently without distinction, it was either a cake or a pebble; everything was consumed so hastily that many suffered from indigestion and had to squat immediately. Even the major demon gods needed some time to settle these conflicting forces.

If they allowed these conflicting powers to rampage within their dimensions, they could not improve their abilities, instead, they risked exposing their weaknesses. Those who had become major demon gods were not short-sighted. Rather than overeating till death, it was better to secure the existing power and develop properly.

After many calls, Mephisto failed to round up anyone. Just as he was about to give up, he heard a universal broadcast:

"This is The Sanctuary of the Nine Realms. Dear members, up next we will introduce our newly introduced deposit business to you...."
