Chapter 572 - Chapter 387 Shiller in Big Trouble?_1

The coastline of New York boasts a splendid view, with many seaside hotels standing along the shore. Most of them are high-rise buildings, offering a great view that allows one to overlook the seascape.

This season is the off-season for seaside vacations, hence there aren't many people on the beach. The few guests in the hotels also didn't notice the sudden appearance of fog on this otherwise perfectly clear day.

A wispy fog wafted over the New York coastline, and two figures flew past behind it, as if they were in a chase with the air. Then, as a sea breeze blew by, the fog seemed to scatter. It made a sharp turn and stopped at the rooftop of the New World Hotel Building.

Iron Man, in his Iron Armor, made the same abrupt turn, the hiss of the jet landing and the mechanical grinding sound occurred all at once. Upon seeing the person-shaped gray mist in front of him, Iron Man's face guard flew up with a 'snap' revealing his furious face.

Soon, Captain America landed as well, and shouted to the man-shaped mist in front of him: "Schiller! Stop!"

When Schiller appeared again, he was not in his black suit but a white doctor's uniform. He said helplessly: "If I stop, will you hear my explanation?"

Before he could finish, a mini-missile flew over. Just as the missile was about to touch him, Schiller turned into a gray mist again and started running around New York.

Originally, Stark and Steve were flying at high speeds past the rooftops of New York's tall buildings, one after the other. Soon, however, another figure joined them - Spider Peter swung in on a thread of spider silk and jumped into the air alongside Steve. He turned his head and asked, "Captain! What's going on? What are you chasing?!"

"Peter! Stop him!!"

"Stop him?" Peter turned his head back and looked forward, but he just saw Iron Man flying in mid-air. He exclaimed in surprise: "Are you guys fighting again? But this is New York! Captain, it may affect ordinary people!"

"It's not Stark!" Steve said helplessly: "Didn't you see it? The fog in front!"

"Uh ... actually, I saw it a long time ago. Did Mr. Stark come up with something new? How can it fly? And why is it in front of you?"

Steve ran and adjusted his breath while trying to explain to Peter, appearing slightly out of breath.

"Peter! It's...Oh never mind. Don't you know yet? That fog is Schiller!"

"Doctor Schiller?!" Peter was greatly surprised and said: "What happened to him? Why did he become a cloud of mist???"

Peter's head kept turning, sometimes looking at the mist ahead, sometimes looking at Steve beside him, not sure whether to believe this or not.

Steve was panting while running and speaking, he coughed twice, slowed down, then pointed ahead and said: "Peter! Catch up with him! Hurry! I am...getting tired..."

Peter hesitated for a while but eventually chose to trust Steve. He shot a strand of spider silk onto the rooftop, swung himself ahead, and soon caught up with Stark flying ahead.

"Mr. Stark!!" Peter shouted: "We can't catch him like this! We must surround him!!"

Upon hearing Peter's voice, Stark finally sobered up a bit from his anger and suddenly realized that his current state was indeed very stupid. The mist in front didn't seem to be making an effort at all. He was wasting energy.

Stark connected directly to the communications on Spider Peter's suit and said, "Encircling strategy."

"Copy that!"

Indeed, the speed of Spider-Man and Red Bee was terrifying and Schiller was soon blocked by Spider-Man who had flanked him. But he didn't panic. He dodged Stark, who was diving at him, and floated in the opposite direction.

"So you're going to keep running like this?!" Stark shouted at Schiller from his mecha-speaker.

"I brought five energy cores with me, which is enough to chase you around the equator. Jarvis can control the battlesuit to auto-cruise, and I can nap along the way..."

Upon hearing this, Schiller seemed to find it reasonable. If he kept running like this, he certainly couldn't outlast Stark. It wasn't about physical strength. Mainly, if he kept running around day and night, wouldn't it be like working overtime? He had just returned from his vacation!

Suddenly, the fog stopped, then with a "bang", it turned into an arrow, pointing at the closest building.

Stark hovered in midair with his arms crossed, slowly flying towards the location Schiller indicated. Peter watched this scene unfold, but found it somewhat familiar. A few seconds later, he realized in surprise: "Oh! Isn't this the gray mist that was peeping outside the window during the Stark Industries Exhibition?!"

By the time Steve, who was following at the back, finally arrived, Schiller reassembled into a human shape, and quickly said, "Let me explain."

Steve looked at Schiller's expression and asked: "Are you Doctor Schiller?"

"Isn't that obvious?" Schiller sighed and said, "I knew it, that guy wasn't so kind. I should have thought... when he advised me to take a vacation."

He shook his head, seemingly a little helpless, but the people in front of him didn't hear his muttering to himself. Stark once again took off his face guard. There was still a hint of lingering anger on his face. He said, "Schiller! You've really gone too far this time!"
