Chapter 557 - Chapter 379 Avengers Alliance 2: Civil War (Part 2)_1

About ten minutes ago, Earth, Blink brought Banner to Charles' office. Charles smiled and asked him, "How have you been feeling lately? Last time we spoke, you mentioned you could see the Hulk in your consciousness space now, right?"

"Yes, I have to admit, Professor Charles, the work you and Doctor Schiller have done to sort out my consciousness space has been effective. Now, even without sleep, as long as I concentrate, I can sense his presence. However, we're still not able to communicate."

"How's Hulk doing? Any signs of him getting angry lately?"

Banner sighed, "He could get angry at any moment. It's hard to predict which time he will actually break free. I'm really worried."

"Do you remember the plan Shiller mentioned to you last time?"

"What do you mean? Ah, I remember now. You mean finding an uninhabited area in the cosmos where Hulk can vent, right?"

"Exactly. Now is the perfect opportunity. I don't know if you're aware of the Avengers' investigation results. A group of parasitic species has been lurking in human society, capturing humans as raw material for their parasitic process."

Banner sighed, "I heard about that. It seems this world is far more dangerous than I imagined."

"In fact, as soon as I thought about this, I felt some agitation in my heart. I don't dare to delve too deep into this topic for fear that Hulk might break free because of my fear."

"But now, there's an opportunity that calls for the Hulk. Tony and Steve have found a way to that planet and they've already set off in their spaceship. As you might know, who would turn down a stronger battle force?"

"You mean..." Banner said, eyes wide, "Okay, so you were referring to that kind of place when you spoke of an uninhabited area in the cosmos..."

"It's an arrangement that benefits everyone, releasing Hulk's anger, giving him a moment of peace. After all, it's not fair to keep him locked away all the time, is it?"

"You're right," Bruce nodded, "He is another of my personalities, a part of me. Suppressing his nature for a long time would only lead to worse consequences, which I've already experienced."

"Hulk's anger stems from fear within me. He has taken on a lot of my fear, yet has not been able to vent his anger. It's not fair."

At this point, Charles turned around, took a ring from a box behind him and said, "This is something Schiller had someone bring over. It's said to have the power to awaken the fear within a person. You can use it to awaken the Hulk and give him greater and more enduring strength."

Banner took the ring and held it up to his eyes, pondering thoughtfully.

Back on Hive Home Star, the battlefield, already a total mess, became more chaotic with the arrival of the Hulk. The angry Hulk indiscriminately attacked friend and foe alike. He had no strategy. He just picked up anything within his line of sight and swung it around.

The first to suffer was the massive Hive. Hulk, lacking in reason, attacked the most conspicuous targets in his view. Attacks from the Hive's tentacles were ineffective against him. Hulk punched repeatedly, smashing all the tentacles within his field of vision into a pulp, causing the Hive to cry out in pain.

Peter was planning to attack the Hive, but was hit by a stone the Hulk had thrown. Holding his throbbing head, he shook his head and said, "What just happened? Where did this big, yellow creature come from? Is it an enemy? Why is it attacking me?"

As he spoke, he heard a whoosh of wind. Captain America was flung out, as Hulk swung a Mecha released by Stark furiously, hitting anything within its range.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Stark's missiles were targeting the Hulk and Captain America rushed up with his shield.

With another cry, two more of Hive's tentacles were severed. He wildly lashed out at everyone there with his tentacles.

In Peter's view, the skyline of the pitch-black city was lit up by the golden glow from Hulk as he spun a Mecha, signaled by its blinking lights, in rapid circles.

"Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!"

Peter watched as he spun, followed by Stark, fully equipped with cannons, in hot pursuit of Hulk.

"Bang! Boom!"

Peter watched as they raced past, followed by Captain America skillfully maneuvering amid the tentacles and then smashing his shield into Hive's face.

"Oh!! Damn bugs!"

"Monster!"

Then, he saw the massive Venom Bat chasing after Hulk.

"I am Venom! I am Revenge!!"

"Hulk!!"

Different figures were moving from left to right, then right to left, with Peter's head spinning along with them.

Before long, the previously crowded skyline full of high-rises and towers was leveled, like a line of falling dominoes, leaving behind only numerous craters and billowing smoke.

Although Peter was completely unclear as to what was happening, that didn't prevent his innate combat instincts, embedded in his genetics, from making him excited. Rubbing his hands together, he jumped into the fray, adding to the turmoil on the already chaotic battlefield.

The core of Peter's strategy in this battle was to help whoever was weaker.

Although he didn't know what complex relationship there was between Stark, Steve, the yellow monster, and the Hive that made them fight like this, he figured attacking whoever he saw was the right way to go.

The Blue Spirit stood on another high-rise building, looking at the horizon, swallowing hard, and then said, "I think we need to reconsider how we write the profile of the human race..."

"They are really a remarkable race, as if they have chaos and madness etched into their genes."

"But at the same time, they have countless delicate emotions and an endless desire for order." Thunder shook his head and said, "A contradictory race, but full of charm."

"The Hive is done for. I don't think it will survive the attack of so many people. The only problem now is that Brood has more than one home star, and they may have already received the distress signal here. A fleet will likely be dispatched shortly."

Green Sting yawned, he really wanted to say that the situation did not look like they were besieging the Hive, but rather like the members of The Avengers were engaged in a civil war, but there was no denying that the aftermath of their internal war was enough to level this planet.

"Let's go back to the spaceship and discuss our next course of action and how to deal with the Brood's battleships. Ideally, we should eliminate them all here."

The few symbiotes who returned to the battleship were not surprised to see Shiller sitting in the cockpit. Shiller turned his head and smiled at them, then said, "Listen up, I have a plan..."

A few minutes later, Peter shouted at the Blue Spirit who was shuttling through the center of the battlefield: "Why are you back again?! What's going on? Why are we fighting???"

"Who knows? Weren't you guys the ones who started the fight?!" the Blue Spirit shouted back.

"Don't think too much about it, just knock everyone down!" Thunder, transformed into lightning, shot out with a "whoosh" sound. A bolt of lightning struck Stark's mech suit. Stark swore and commanded his Mechanical Army to attack the symbiotes.

Peter, knocked over by a robot, shouted, "Wait! Mr. Stark! It's me!"

"Ah, Captain! I'll save you!" Peter quickly got up, used his spider silk to swing over and kicked a giant tentacle of the Hive. He saved Steve who had been wrapped up by it.

To his surprise, Steve thought he was one of Stark's robots and threw his shield straight at him. Peter rolled on the spot to dodge the shield, only to be hit and sent flying by a rock thrown by the Hulk.

Suddenly, the battlefield air became stagnant, and a huge portal appeared in the sky of the planet.

Strange and the Grand Mages descended onto the planet. Countless rings flickered behind them, and their cloaks fluttered in the air. Landing, the magical brilliance suddenly flared up, his voice echoing across the battlefield: "…Magic is Eternal!"

With the wave of his hand, countless beams of light descended onto the battlefield, turning most of the tentacles and ground machinery into ashes. The Grand Mages launched their attacks all at once, and in no time at all, all the buildings in the vicinity were leveled.

Stark snorted, and a white light of data stream burst out of his eyes. He spread out his arms, flying into the air, and more and more machinery materialized behind him.

A rain of machinery descended from the sky of the planet, and after more large-scale hives landed, mechanical bees swarmed out like worker ants. In an instant, they devoured everything on the surface and turned them into nutrients for the Mechanical Army.

Suddenly, another figure rushed out from the portal. When it landed, countless fragments splashed around. A giant lizard monster dropped to the ground, almost the size of the Hulk. The monster's huge tail swiped violently at Stark, sending him flying.

"Professor Connors?!" Peter shouted, "Why are you here too? And why are you attacking Mr. Stark?!"

The Lizard Doctor Connors on the ground walked slowly over, bending down and looking at Peter with his huge vertical pupils. He said, "Don't you understand the current situation yet?"

As he spoke, he again swung his tail, cutting off two tentacles that were trying to sneak attack him. He flicked his tongue out, and his voice was as cold-blooded as a reptile: "The current situation is - an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth!"

With more and more tentacles trampled into meat by the lizard monster, the Hive finally exploded. Suddenly, his figure swelled enormously. All of his tentacles came together to form a massive monster with the planet as its lower half. He roared, "Enough! You bunch of humans!"

But everyone below was too caught up in the fight, they had completely lost track of who their enemies were. Any living creature they saw was subjected to a harsh beating. But everyone was well-matched in power, so the situation became more and more tense, with no one paying any attention to the Hive.

The aftermath of the fight continued to wipe out the buildings and tentacles on Hive's home planet.

If you raise your line of sight, the planet becomes smaller and smaller in the field of vision. Suddenly two beams of light appeared in the dark cosmos. The massive Brood Fleet arrived.

"Fleet ahead, please respond. This is the Brood's Third Fleet. You have declared war on us. We will open fire in ten seconds…"

This fleet was significantly larger than the previous Octopus Fleet. Although still slightly smaller than the Radiant Battleship, it was considerably more numerous. You could tell that they had many powerful weapons aboard. Obviously, this was an experienced and well-armed fleet.

In the main control room of the fleet's flagship, a Brood dressed in a grand military uniform looked at the monitor. He said: "The shape of the ship opposite looks familiar... Could it be the Kree? But the colors are wrong."

Before he could figure it out, two small black dots suddenly appeared in his field of vision. The Brood commander said, "Enlarge! What is that?"

After the screen was enlarged, two small figures were seen in the cosmos. After the commander experienced surprise, what followed was a series of incredulous laughter. He said, "Have these people gone mad? They're actually sending out two people to face the mightiest Brood Third Fleet???"

Then, in his field of vision, one of the figures with a helmet and fluttering black cape raised his hand and lightly pinched.

The battleship on the flank shattered.
