The Andromeda Union civilization, sprung up from the remnants of a high-level ancient civilization, is a multi-racial, multi-ethnic society bound by a common leadership, arising from its unique origins and history.
The union's interstellar fleet is comprised of the four strongest military races, respectively the material-savvy Andromeda Bug Tribe, the Totem Spirits who excel in energy and magic power, the High Elves who are masters in structure and ecology, and the most powerful Seka civilization in the entire union.
While these four races are considered the strongest in the union, the gaps between them are vast. The Speaker of the Union's Supreme Parliament, the Vice-Speaker, and one-third of the parliamentarians are from the most powerful Seka group.
In reality, the population of the Seka group is very small. They live on the Sky Island in the center of the Union Civilization, within the "Twin Star Island" system, while the other two planets are inhabited by the High Elves and Totem Spirits.
Originally, this was a prosperous star zone with ships from several races coming and going each day. The Sky Island, situated at the highest point in the Twin Star Island system, known as the Great Nebula Pearl, was beautifully developed by the Seka clan.
Despite its unique celestial structure - lacking an atmosphere and no revolution or rotation - the island is enveloped by a beautiful rainbow shield. The energy core beneath the island peak is slightly exposed, emanating a dazzling luster, akin to a gemstone.
All members of the Union civilization dream of going to the Speaker's Sky Island as it is considered the most habitable spot in the Andromeda Union Civilization.
However, the bustling fleets that once layered the skies have completely vanished, and the United Fleet that once pledged to defend their homeland near the Speaker's Sky Island is no longer in sight.
Soon, however, this place welcomes an unexpected guest.
The energy core of the Sky Island's rainbow shield is the Speaker's Mansion itself. The Speaker of the Union civilization stands in front of the mansion gate, in the cascade of rainbow energy that engulfs the area like a fountain, watching a group of men in black slowly descending.
As their boots touch the ground, fine dust floats up, and their cloaks slowly descend. When Magneto lands, he doesn't regard the Speaker and Deputy Speaker at the door, instead, his gaze is fixated on the grandiose Speaker's Mansion.
This is a very uniquely styled building, most of the walls consist of brilliant transparent crystals while ancient towering trees serve as the supporting columns. It appears much like an Elven kingdom in human fairy tales, filled with lush alien flora that is no less impressive than Earth's vegetation, dotted with beautiful magic light points.
Only after viewing every detail of the architecture does Magneto shift his gaze to a group of people on the steps. They are a group of blue-skinned aliens, slightly taller than humans with slender limbs, but their physique and facial features are similar to humans. At this moment, they all have grim expressions because no matter who is disrespected, they feel angry.
At this point, the Blue Spirit, symbiotically residing in the Shadow, steps out of the mutants' line-up. Seeing that all-too-familiar blue figure, Speaker's complexion seems to darken even more.
"Blue Spirit... So, it was all your conspiracy."
"Conspiracy? You have the audacity to mention conspiracy?!"
The Blue Spirit's tone is filled with anger. Another symbiont of orange color emerges from the sidelines and asserts authoritatively, "Paean! It is only due to the disaster we faces that I unearthed a sonic super weapon in our nearby orbit that you installed. Why on earth would you do that?!"
Sitting atop the steps, Speaker Paean is dressed in a fancy robe, and his blue skin shimmers under the rainbow light. He no longer felt the need to feign, asserting, "You rotten muds, unworthy to reside in the same star system as us, you all should've perished long ago."
The Blue Spirit took a deep breath, "Evacuate yourself and your people from here. Out of respect for our past cooperation..."
"You wish these pathetic ants to replace me?" Paean narrows his eyes at the mutants below, "Blue Spirit, have you gone blind from old age?"
"Don't resist the inevitable anymore." Green Sting steps out, "All military forces of the Union civilization perished in the explosion of the supermassive black hole - you're now on your own."
Finishing Green Sting's sentence, The Blue Spirit asserts, "We didn't wish to resort to this, but when we returned to our home planet, the chaos power encircling it revealed the planet-scale sonic weapon hidden in the nearby orbit of the Klinta star..."
"Don't bother trying to justify your actions. Only you have such EMP weapons in the entire cosmos, Paean. I've emphasized to you multiple times, our planet is the focus of the entire star system, housing a fearsome creature..."
"Enough, Blue Spirit! Until when do you intend to threaten us with those claims?"
"You meddling cosmic special agents with your heads full of justice and peace are the reason the Union civilization can't unify!"
"Paean, you talk about us being filled with justice, but isn't your oft-uttered goal of Union unification just to serve your own selfish desires?"
"You usurped the Rainbow Light Generator on the Totem Spirits' home planet under the pretense of unification, moved the High Elves' ancient greenhouse onto the Sky Island, and finally forced the Bug Tribe to use their cave clusters to construct your dazzling Speaker's Mansion..."
"End your evil reign." Blue Spirit stares at Paean and asserts, "It's time for a change of authority here."
Paean folds his hands in front of him and inquires, "You seek to exile me from here?"
He shook his head, revealing a mocking expression, saying, "Why? Because of you, some Cosmic Special Agents? Or these weak humans?"
As his words fell, the deputy speaker gestured, and in an instant, the magical brilliance soared into the sky from the rooftop of the Speaker's Mansion. With a "buzz," a severe shockwave swept across, and the symbionts screamed and flew out, and the colorful mucus quickly retreated into their host bodies.
"I knew you weren't up to any good. How could there be no precautions?"
Magneto tilted his head back but didn't look at Speaker Paean. Instead, he raised his eyes to the soaring magical brilliance as if he was looking at an interesting toy. However, he did not move, but just flexed his fingers.
Polaris, behind him, stepped forward. As her power activated, her green hair fluttered in the air without any wind. She extended her hand and grabbed at nothing. The magical beam emitted a piercing "zizz" sound and went out with a "puff".
Paean's expression stiffened for a moment, but then he took out a control panel and said, "You think all the fleets have gone to deal with the Sulfur Dwarfs? In fact, I've been on guard against opportunists. Two heavy battleships have never left the defense range of Sky Island..."
As he pressed the button, a shadow appeared in the sky of Sky Island. Blue Spirit emerged again from the mutants' bodies, he looked up and said, "Sly blue skins, damned locusts... It's a Furnace-class ship in Union civilization and should be the most important force!"
"I said it. How could the defensive line of Union civilization collapse so quickly?" Thunder stared at Paean, "You have diverted defensive forces for your personal desires, Paean, you're more despicable than I thought!"
"The Furnace-class ship carries an electromagnetic storm weapon capable of covering the entire globe. Look, the black hole-like gun mouth... the brainless Insect Race never noticed when I infiltrated the management system of the ship when they were building it..."
"They won't remember that, more than a hundred years ago, that mining accident was actually a write-off for these two heavy battleships. Now, they are my private armament and anyone who objects will be wiped out in an electromagnetic storm!"
As his words fell, a dazzling light began to gather at the gun ports on both sides of the giant ship in the sky. The Blue Spirit shouted, "Move away! That's an electromagnetic storm weapon!"
Magneto finally moved slightly. He turned his head to look at Polaris. She met his gaze and said, "I'm not sure, but I can try."
Magneto turned his head back and continued to admire the architecture of the Speaker's Mansion, as if admiring a painting in an art gallery.
Polaris slowly rose into the air. She lowered her eyes to look at her own hands, facing the increasingly bright gun port, she suddenly revealed a sly smile, saying, "Let's watch the fireworks."
After speaking, she crossed her forearms to form an X. Just as the ball of light turned into terrifying plasma and shot at her, an invisible stance blocked in front of her arms.
But it was not enough to simply block it. Polaris reversed her hands, and the electromagnetic storm in front of her was kneaded into an oval shape like dough. Then she pushed it, and the highly compressed electromagnetic energy flew back along the gun port.
With a "boom," the giant ship exploded into fireworks and disintegrated in the sky. The debris fell like a meteor shower, and Polaris extended her hand again, and a magnetic shield shrouded over several people.
The range of the magnetic shield was limited to allies. Facing the falling debris from the explosion of the ship, Paean could no longer maintain his elegant demeanor. He retreated quickly with the Deputy Speaker.
At this moment, the closest piece of ship wreckage with electricity and flames stopped in mid-air, less than three meters above their heads.
Magneto looked rather dissatisfied at Polaris. Polaris averted her gaze and then said, "Okay, I know. I shouldn't damage the floor or the buildings..."
As she spoke, she waved her hand impatiently, and the magnetic shield spread to the entire square above. There wasn't much force in the falling debris itself, and it changed direction upon hitting the shield and was cast into the cosmos.
However, after the magnetic shield was unfolded, Paean was surprised and widened his eyes, saying, "This...isn't this the mysterious shield that blocked our star zone during the impact of the previous black hole explosion?"
The Deputy Speaker looked at Paean and said, "So, this wasn't a shield left by 'them'..."
Paean obviously figured it out as well, he fixed his gaze on Magneto in front of him and said, "Did you cause the Super Black Hole explosion?!"
"You bunch of maniacs!" Paean raised his voice, "Just to overthrow me and rule Union civilization, you even blew up the black hole and destroyed all civilizations?!!!"
"You're insane, you're absolutely insane! You almost destroyed the universe!"
"Paean, your end is near, letting you go, is a result of my negotiation with humans, I pleaded for you. Now the best result is for you to leave this galaxy forever and never come back."
