Chapter 3757 - Chapter 2876: Battleworld Reopens (Part 2)

Silver Superman, the true Superman, with infinite power, unlimited knowledge, without any weaknesses, made his wishes come true.

He bit into the Kryptonite he was holding and tossed the other half away like a date pit, instantly knocking down the Day of Destruction Superman and that Madman Superman.

The other Supermen gradually flew up from the water, and Main Universe Superman flicked his hair and said, "Man, that was intense, but you should also consider everyone else."

"I just heard someone was looking for little sweet peas." Silver Superman shrugged. He was even livelier than Justice Lord Superman, flew a circle around the two men lying on the ground, and lifted the big guy up.

The next second, countless Destruction Day Spores scattered, but none could land on anyone else. The gigantic body of Day of Destruction Superman deflated, though it still exhibited features of Doomsday; however, his eyes seemed to regain some spirit.

The next one to wake up was that Madman Superman, who seemed not to understand what was happening, vigorously patted his own head, and suddenly, he froze, a name slipping through his lips.

"Lois..."

The other Supermen, afraid he might go crazy again, quickly moved toward him, but due to the presence of Kryptonite, they dared not get too close.

"What happened to Lois?" Main Universe Superman felt a bit nervous and said, "The Lois from your universe isn't in trouble, is she?"

"Lois is dead..." The Superman kneeling on the ground let out a wail and said, "She and the child..."

Just then, a figure rushed toward the ground, and before the other Supermen could react, the Kryptonite had already fused into a Superman's body.

Power burst from his body, and he no longer hid the evil expression on his face, shooting a Cyclops beam at the other Supermen.

Another entirely black-clad Superman didn't give him any face, instantly flashing behind him and delivering a punch to his back. The two danced in the air along the icy surface, with red lasers flying chaotically.

Clark was in shock; he was the only Superman not wearing a uniform, having arrived in sports attire, and thus looked somewhat out of place. Soon, Silver Superman took notice of him.

"Hey, kid, which universe are you from? Where's your uniform?"

"I didn't wear one." Clark said, "I prefer casual clothes."

"Then how do you administer justice?"

"I don't really administer justice." Clark said, "I just came back from Mexico, well, another universe's Mexico, where I was teaching an old man how to farm."

Silver Superman was about to say something when a dazzling light suddenly descended from the sky to the ground.

"Stop." As he began to speak, all anyone could see in front of them was golden light. When the light faded, they saw a Clark Kent made entirely of gold.

"God!" Clark exclaimed, though in his mind, he was thinking how much such a huge gold statue would be worth.

Golden Superman, the Superman of Supermen, invincible.

"Ah, that, sorry, I'm not a player, I'm also an admin," Golden Superman scratched his head and said, "They said I was too strong, would burst the instance, so they just let me come to take a look."

"Your timing couldn't be better." Clark said, "I don't think the creatures fighting below can really be called Superman, you have a big problem with your categorization."

"That's exactly what I'm here to address." Golden Superman said, "Actually, we were planning to separate Justice Superman and Evil Supermen, because you are not like Batman. Different stances mean no basis for cooperation, only chaos."

"Then why did you put us together?"

"Because some people are hard to define." Golden Superman looked at the Justice Lord, "Where do you think I should place you? Justice or Evil?"

"I certainly don't want to stay with these monsters who can't communicate." The Justice Lord obviously despised them, saying, "Although these boring moral champions are somewhat annoying, if the other choice is to fight in a melee with them, I'd rather stay here."

"The current plan is, although you are still one team, you can be divided into two different bases, here is the North Pole, I'll take them to the South Pole, you can communicate online if there is any issue."

With that, Golden Superman took away those who were still fighting fiercely, but clearly, there were still traitors in the Superman team, only they were better at hiding and still had the sanity to communicate. At the moment, they lurked in the crowd, clearly harboring other thoughts.

Golden Superman led these Evil Supermen to the other end of Earth, this new Earth was much larger than the regular one, and it took some time to fly across, with other squads passed along the way, so it was not so easy for these Supermen to fly over and bother the normal ones.

Golden Superman just dropped them off and left, the only thing he did was whisper a sentence in the ear of that Superman immersed in grief over Lois's death.

The Superman immediately widened his eyes, turned his head to look at Golden Superman, but the latter had already disappeared into the golden light.

"I support him being our leader." A Superman who was not Clark and obviously not as strong as Clark flew next to Silver Superman, clearly recognizing each other.

The Justice Lord maintained his standpoint, believing that letting these old-fashioned hardheads become leaders would doom the team.

"We should adopt a voting system; that is true democracy," Superman spoke up, and Clark couldn't help but glance sideways at him because his color scheme was slightly different from the others, giving him a somewhat vintage look.

As Clark turned his head, he saw that the diamond shape on that Superman's chest didn't bear an S but rather a sickle crossed with a hammer.

"You should have said so earlier," Clark leaned in without giving himself away, pretending someone behind him shouted, "I also support the vote, I think it's the fairest way!"

The other Supermen agreed too, as they really didn't have a better idea. They couldn't just fight it out to determine the strongest, could they?

Silver Superman and Justice Lord had both signed up. Clark busied himself looking for a chance to exchange secret signs with that special Superman, but unexpectedly, the special Superman also raised his hand, and Clark, without thinking, cast his vote for him.

Unfortunately, Silver Superman ended up winning because his trick of eating Kryptonite like jelly beans was indeed impressive, and he didn't seem like the kind of evil Superman, making him the best choice for captain.

Justice Lord showed clear disappointment, but the other candidates didn't say much, apparently opting for the minority to follow the majority.

Clark flew behind Justice Lord and whispered, "Do you know what that guy's deal is?"

Justice Lord had recognized Clark early on because the aura he carried was reminiscent of that crazy young Batman from his universe, he whispered back, "I've never seen him before, but that symbol on his chest is probably Soviet..."

"I know it's Soviet. I mean, why is it like this?"

"Spaceships crash everywhere," Justice Lord said, looking around, "If it crashes in America, you get Superman; if it's in the Soviet Union, you get a commissar. You didn't just vote for him, did you? Spare me!"

"What's wrong with that?" Clark replied. "At least he understands a bit of democracy, unlike you."

"I dare say we are of the same kind," Justice Lord responded. "I bet what he's up to isn't communism but red hegemony. You'll be disappointed."

While they were talking, another nearly identical red Superman flew by, leaving everyone stunned.

"How likely is it that two spaceships would land in the Soviet Union one after the other?" Clark asked the Justice Lord beside him.

Justice Lord didn't understand what was going on, but apart from Clark, the other Supermen didn't think much of it, since there were many Supermen who all looked alike. The other two looked different, but that wasn't unusual either.

Silver Superman began assigning tasks. The Supermen were dutifully going about the main quest, which involved first spending some points to buy a materials pack to build a base for themselves, then seeing what good stuff they could get from the random copies sent by mail.

They first purchased a Kryptonian technology pack, replicated the Fortress of Solitude in the North Pole with some modifications, and then exchanged for random copies. These were ordinary copies, mostly within the abilities of Superman, and they gathered in the grand hall of the Fortress of Solitude, forming teams in twos and threes.

Clark and Justice Lord stayed together, but Clark clearly wanted to approach the red Superman more. It was just that with two identical red Supermen, he felt something odd was going on and decided not to go over.

"I think we can pull one of them over," Justice Lord suggested proactively. "The copy I have is pretty good; it can show if he's human or ghost."

Clark was tempted and said, "If it doesn't work, we'll try the other one; surely one of them must be real, right?"

The two headed towards the direction of the red Supermen.

The Batmen heard a loud bang.

Main Universe Batman was the first to look toward the direction from which the sound came. He said to Batwoman, "There's a smart one; I think we can come together now."

"Not necessarily a good thing," Batwoman, crossing her arms, got into the car and said, "Not all Batmen are just; him exposing himself like this is likely to put himself in danger."

"Unless he's certain of his safety."

Batwoman glanced at Batman with a bit of surprise. Did she hear wrong, or was there a hint of amusement in Main Universe Batman's tone?

The Batmobile first went through a wide tunnel, then a narrower section. Main Universe Batman threw two small bombs to widen the tunnel a bit more, and the Batmobile continued on.

But before they reached where the explosion had occurred, they heard two swooshing sounds, and the Batmobile screeched to a halt, expertly dodging two incoming Batman darts.

"So it's you," a Batman in Metal Armor came from around the bend of the tunnel, his armor instantly vanishing to reveal the suit underneath.

Batwoman signaled with her eyes for Main Universe Batman to be cautious, but he stepped out of the car directly.

"Long time no see, Mr. President," Main Universe Batman said as he got out of the vehicle and shook hands with the other Batman. "How has Jason been lately? My Robin has been quite concerned about what birthday gift I'm planning to give him, I guess that's your doing."

Arkham Batman didn't say much, just nodded, turning to look toward the end of the tunnel and said, "Who do you think made the noise?"

It wasn't a question, so Main Universe Batman didn't answer. They both got out of the car and slowly proceeded towards the source of the sound.

Familiar noises echoed through the cave.
