Chapter 3676 - Chapter 2804: Star Core Rescue (54)

AI Iron Man left quickly, as he apparently had more matters to attend to. Ultron, somewhat curious, asked Shiller about the newcomer's background. Shiller didn't tell him, but in fact, it was not a secret.

This Iron Man hailed from a particular universe, that is, the comic "Venom: The End." Yes, he did not originate from Iron Man's own series, but appeared in a story about Venom.

The tale actually tells of Venom's battle with robots, where the robots have a collective consciousness known as "God's Will Consortium," and one of their subdivisions, Iron Man, was termed Mechanical Overlord Iron Man, also referred to as God-Suppressing Iron Man, could be considered the strongest Iron Man of the Multiverse.

However, this Iron Man sometimes wasn't recognized by Iron Man fans, because after all, he was just an AI, not the real Tony Stark. Even so, his strength was undeniable.

AI Iron Man created a weapon capable of deconstructing the mathematics of the cosmos, called Calculating Element, so he is more commonly known as the Calculating Element Iron Man. However, Calculating Element is not his codename, but a mathematical weapon he created.

So far, this character's highest performance was instantaneously killing a host of Abstract Entities, including the Court of Life. Although standing against the Court of Life should be a sign of being at an Omnipotent Universal Level, this was with the help of the power of the God's Will Consortium's collective consciousness. At the moment, the single AI Iron Man is likely above the Multiverse.

The reason why this is no secret is that ever since Nick took over the Time Management Bureau, the main job of the Bureau was no longer to capture time criminals but to understand the status of superheroes from various universes through the flow of time.

The universe of this AI Iron Man was not remote and had been discovered long ago. He had also had contact with the personnel of the Time Management Bureau, hence why there was a file left on him.

But considering his logic of action that disassembled everything in the universe, the Time Management Bureau did not intend to provoke him. Thus, only a brief file was kept, and they had not conversed with him yet.

Shiller actively sought him out, actually for the purpose of the Multiverse "crap" plan. He couldn't let the burden of the Mad Laugh's crappy task fall on him alone. The entire Marvel Universe ought to witness it as well. Who can blame you when your OAA couldn't stop this piece of crap?

The thought that in about three days, this junk film would premiere across the entire Multiverse, and that it would be sent directly to the screen, forbidding anyone to turn it off until it's fully watched, made Shiller ecstatic. Although he had quite a few friends in other universes, good brothers ought to eat "shit" together, after all.

What AI Iron Man spoke of today also made Shiller reflective. In truth, he had never given up on exploring his own psychic battlefield, especially greed. He had never abandoned the intent to boost his spiritual strength.

He had always planned to build a High Tower, reasoning that the higher the Tower, the more personality fragments it could hold, and the more spacious it would be for everyone to live, even going so far as to stack Ye Meng Jia De on it.

But later he discovered that this method was not very effective. Although there might be more rooms, many contents didn't need to be so finely divided. Moreover, the higher the construction, the slower the consciousness ascends, so Shiller essentially abandoned this plan.

Of course, greed also tried to sink continuously in the subconscious. Aside from scooping up some strange things, it never really sunk to the bottom, merely skimming the surface.

Inviting AI Iron Man over this time, Shiller was hoping that this being, touted as the strongest Iron Man, could analyze Shiller's psyche from an information stream perspective. Unfortunately, while he identified some unusual aspects, he couldn't discover why they were unusual.

Actually, Shiller had pondered over the matter of mental capacity before because, no matter what, it's quite difficult for a normal person to have their thought processes operate in the way Shiller's did—the structure of the Tower of Thought was immensely complex. Merely handling the logistical operations of the tower could occupy an unknown amount of brain capacity. Yet Shiller's processing speed not only remained unaffected but might have even become faster than before. This was the most unusual part.

So far, this vast reserve of mental capacity had not brought about any adverse effects, so Shiller hadn't delved deeper. However, since AI Iron Man had raised the issue, he thought it might be worth looking into.

After finishing dinner, Shiller laid in bed pondering the question while slowly falling asleep. He arrived at the Tower of Thought, where he originally planned to check the memory bank for clues buried in his previous memories. But then he thought that instead of searching himself, it would be more time-efficient to directly ask Morbid.

This wasn't a big deal; perhaps just asking Manipulation would yield the answers, and that would save even more time. Therefore, Greed once again went to the Abyss, and just as he was about to jump down, he suddenly noticed a faint light shining from the sky below the Abyss—near the edge of the subconscious realm.

Greed's eyes widened slightly. He remembered the last time such a scene occurred was when the gateway to DC's Dreamland was opened.

Back then, Joker had dug a hole in the floor of the high tower and jumped down to reach the Kingdom of Dreams. But in reality, he didn't need to jump all the way down; the gateway to the Kingdom of Dreams was opened at the intersection between the conscious and the subconscious—roughly at the soles of the conscious and the crown of the subconscious.

After all, the moment a person enters a dream is actually the process of the conscious mind sinking into the subconscious, so the gateway exists between the two.

For Shiller, everything beneath the floor of the entire tower was part of his subconscious. The Abyss, sticking to one side of the floor, was the highest place within the subconscious; the deeper one went, the closer to a void.

The high tower above was also more dangerous at lower levels because of the presence of the Abyss. Some areas even retained Morbid's rooms. Personalities such as Moonlight, who had more distinct character traits, lived in the lower areas, while the likes of Arrogance and Greed resided on the upper floors.

Looking at the slowly opening door with its gorgeous and fantastical colors, Shiller felt uncertain. He knew this couldn't be the gateway to the Kingdom of Dreams. But recalling the conversation he had with Dream Power Doctor Strange during the day, he wondered if the other party wanted to speak with him about something, opening specifically a gateway to the Nightmare dimension to find him.

But Shiller waited there for quite some time and didn't see the figure of Dream Power Doctor Strange. After some thought, he decided to drift towards the gateway, his figure slowly vanishing into it.

The moment he entered through the door, he knew that it wasn't Dream Power Doctor Strange looking for him because he had returned to New York. Clearly, this was a dream, and moreover, a dream that was artificially created.

Shiller stood on a street of New York when suddenly a group of noisy teenagers on bicycles darted past him. Shiller froze for a moment because he recognized a familiar figure among them—it was Robbins.

Shiller had an ominous premonition.

Suddenly, his surroundings changed, and he found himself in an alley. Robbins knocked over a trash can but then got distracted by something inside it. He approached and picked up a piece of cloth, only to be shocked to find his hand had disappeared.

The ominous premonition in Shiller's heart grew stronger.

```
Then, quite as expected, Shiller followed Robbins around like a human camera, watching him use the invisibility cloak he'd found to play pranks, then escalate to committing crimes, becoming pursued by superheroes but always managing to make a fool out of them.
At the same time, within the Omni Universe, countless beings of numerous plural Multiverses were all having the same dream.
This dream lasted a total of 11 hours.
When Shiller emerged from the Dreamworld, he slammed onto the floor of the Abyss with a bang. Manipulation, who was reading in the room, frowned at the noise and opened the door, "Go check it out."
The figure with half-long hair sitting at the living room table, piecing together a model, reluctantly set down the object in hand and climbed up the ladder to take a look, then hurriedly went out to help Greed get back on his feet.
"Good heavens, what happened to you?!" he asked, shocked.
And when Greed appeared in the living room, Manipulation was also surprised. He flipped Greed's eyelid and said, "It seems like he received a strong mental shock, causing a reset of personality traits."
"Is there a problem?"
"No, just a psychic reset, no harm done. But what could cause Greed a mental reset... Has anyone seen where he went earlier?"
Gluttony, sitting at the dining table, spoke up, "A dream portal opened above our heads earlier. He must have gone in."
"What kind of dream could have done this to him?" Manipulation looked Greed up and down, then said, "Forget it, let's just take him back to his room."
The next morning, Stark woke up bewildered in his own bedroom bed. He turned his head to find Pepper looking equally confused beside him.
Their eyes met, and Stark was the first to speak, "Dear, what's wrong?"
"I had a dream, what about you?"
"I also had a dream."
"What did you dream of..."
"No, don't ask!" Stark suddenly displayed a look of horror, as dreadful memories swamped his brain. He sprang from the bed and said, "I didn't dream anything, I don't know anything!"
Pepper, having regained her composure, instinctively began to recall the dream, then a second later, "Bluargh—"
Stark quickly went over to support her, soothingly stroking her back, and then said, "Oh my, has your morning sickness started so early?"
It was not early anymore, Pepper caressed her slightly protruding belly. Being a normal human, her pregnancy cycle lasted a year, and several months had already gone by; it was normal for her to have morning sickness.
Pepper wiped her mouth with a tissue, remembering what she had been thinking of, she tried to recall it again, but instead, "Bluargh—!!"
However, this time it was not Pepper who vomited. She turned to see Stark clutching his throat, gagging. Stark waved his hand at her and said, "Sorry, I just thought about that dream."
"No, don't mention... Bleargh!"
"You stop thinking about it, too, I... Bleargh!!!"
The sound of gagging rose here and there, and it was not only the superheroes; all the ordinary people had also experienced the same dream that night and were throwing up uncontrollably the next morning.
But S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn't as on high alert as usual, possibly due to some supervillain or curse at work, despite the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director himself spending half the day vomiting in his office.
"Damn that Shiller..." Nick leaned on his desk, panting, "Is this the doing of some vile Behind-the-scenes Manipulator? I think it's personal revenge, he wants to get all of us... bleargh!"
Natasha slumped on the sofa with an ice pack on her head, appearing weaker than ever. She muttered, "What a horrifying 11 hours, I feel like my brain was violated, what in the world did I watch??? Is that even a movie humans could make???"
Coulson was still clutching a bucket, vomiting, weakly gasping for air, "Can we stop talking about it? Watching it for a full 11 hours wasn't enough? I don't want to remember it anymore!"
Yet Natasha gritted her teeth and said, "It was an intergalactic supreme century-grade terrible movie! No, 'terrible' doesn't even describe it, let alone the forced viewing in the dream, no escaping it, Shiller is downright cruel!!!"
The female agent, as though she could not endure it anymore, fumbled for her phone and began furiously typing a movie review.
However, she was apparently one of the more tolerant ones. In the popular discussion section, there were already hundreds of thousands of angry comments being posted.
