Chapter 3330 - Chapter 2472: The Strange and Quirky Bat Family (15)

```
Hugo truly grasped what a modern version of Xianglin's Wife meant.
The word Superman simply could not appear in Doomsday Batman's mind because as soon as it did, a multitude of memories would flood in about how they met, how they became friends, and how they solved one incident after another together in the Justice League.
And most importantly, how Superman had betrayed him.
Whenever the word Superman was mentioned, Batman would go through all these memories again in his head, and because the recollections were so frequent and rapid, Hugo couldn't even find an opportunity to insert new memories.
But as a psychological master, Hugo was not about to admit defeat so easily. Put simply, he just had to get on Batman's case.
Then, after a whole night of attempts, listening to that entire experience over 2000 times, Hugo threw in the towel.
Batman's entire psychic world seemed to revolve around Superman, no matter what you talked about, even if you asked him whether he ate bread or sausage for breakfast, he would recall the time he had breakfast with Superman.
In the meantime, Hugo tried to twist the memories from a broad conceptual direction, such as deleting and correcting the memories of Superman, but Batman would quickly get everything back on track, deducing from the cause that Superman must have betrayed me, and from the effect that Superman must be deceiving me.
He also attempted to start with the details, like adding some really bizarre details into the memories, so Batman would realize something was off—and then Batman didn't realize anything was off at all; he just felt that Superman was wrong in every possible way.
Hugo realized that being love-struck to the extreme was also a skill, one that could essentially immunize one against all sorts of brainwashing and hypnosis. Forget justice and ideology, and don't even start on national feuds and family hatreds. Even if the heavens descended, you would still have to join me in reveling in romance today. Not allowed to leave without cursing that heartbreaker thoroughly.
In fact, Doomsday Batman had already regained some rationality, but regrettably, if the machine itself was designed to stimulate emotions, coupled with the fact that Doomsday Batman was just discussing Superman related issues with Batman before the hypnosis, and he was also thinking about some Superman-related matters while being hypnotized, it caused his thoughts to start hitting a wall in his mind.
At this stage, whether or not Batman could be used to harm Mr. and Mrs. Wayne was no longer important. Hugo just had to see the limits of a love-struck brain.
So he brought out his trump card, entering Batman's brain as a psychic entity through the brainwave hypnosis device.
There were now over twenty thousand Supermen in Batman's head.
Due to Hugo's earlier careless operations, Batman had unearthed all the memory fragments of his past interactions with Superman and mixed them all together, with no breaks in between, causing every memory fragment's Superman to come alive.
It would have been fine if they merely appeared, but the Superman in Batman's memories was clearly divided. Before a certain point in time, Superman was everything wonderful, the perfect embodiment of a just ally, and Batman's closest confidant.
But after a certain point, Superman changed into a vile villain, embodying all the evil attributes imaginable, and some had even become non-human in Batman's imaginings, looking even more bizarre than the real Superman.
This caused the just Superman and the evil Superman to be incompatible, with the superhero asking how could you do such a thing, and the criminal replying only in this way can I save the world, Clark asking how could you do this to Batman, and the betrayer responding I was deceiving him from the very beginning.
Hugo couldn't even see Batman's figure at all, and even if he wanted to pull him out from amongst the more than twenty thousand Supermen, it would have been too difficult.
Just when Hugo thought he had to return empty-handed, he realized he couldn't leave because those Supermen had started fighting.
Everything in the psychic world depends on the strength the host of the psychic world assigns to them, and Batman obviously had a full understanding of Superman's strength, even slightly exaggerated. When it came to a corporate army's Superman, the destructive power was even more ridiculous.
Hugo didn't even have time to turn around and flee before he was utterly incinerated by incalculable devastating heat vision, and he passed out on the spot, thumping down on the machine.
With the machine unattended, Doomsday Batman quickly broke free from the hypnosis. He didn't quite remember what had happened, only Superman, Superman, Superman, and Superman.
Doomsday Batman looked around and quickly spotted Hugo collapsed on the operating table, and thus deduced that he must have been subjected to hypnosis, only not knowing why the other party not only failed but even knocked himself out.
Doomsday Batman thought about it, since he was here, he might as well not leave empty-handed. First, he took the despicable criminal back to the Batcave, and then, seeing that the equipment in the room was quite nice, took it all away.
Clang, the cell door closed, and Red Hood, still leaning against the wall in front of the cell door, said contemptuously, "This is the first time I've seen someone knock themselves out while trying to hypnotize someone else."
Hugo pounded his forehead furiously and said, "What do you know?! That damn Batman, his head is full of Superman."
```

"Are you meeting Batman for the first time?" Red Hood rolled his eyes and said, "When is he ever without Superman on his mind?"

"But he, he..." Hugo almost didn't catch his breath in time to save himself from suffocating.

In another room of the Batcave, another criminal appeared before Batman, who was also skilled in hypnosis – the Mad Hatter.

The process was much the same, continuously leaking information to Wayne Enterprises' competitors, making them realize they couldn't overcome the monstrous beings brought in by Mr. and Mrs. Wayne using normal methods, so they thought to hire supervillains.

The person who knew these supervillains best was Batman himself. He turned into a professional manager and began peddling the Mad Hatter's information far and wide, until finally someone made an offer that appealed to the Hatter, and he too set out for Doomsday Batman.

The final outcome was the same; anyone who attempted to beat Doomsday Batman on a psychological level ultimately fell under the invincible love-struck fists of Iron Fist.

Clang! The cell door closed again, and the Mad Hatter sprawled on the ground, only to turn his head and see his good colleague, Hugo.

Then, the Joker was also caught.

However, he wasn't apprehended by Green Lantern Batman. After biting the Joker and letting him discover the secret of his blood, the Joker thought he might still be useful. So, he locked him up in a cellar.

The problem was with Harley Quinn.

How could Harley Quinn not be fascinated by a full-size dinosaur version of Batman in his colors? Facing Batman, she didn't show her intentions clearly because she had her own plans, and Batman was ready to fulfill her plans.

Once the Bat Tyrant Dragon woke up, Batman performed a series of checks and upgrades and, using the need to adapt to these upgrades as an excuse, told the Bat Tyrant Dragon to go out and stretch its legs.

Harley Quinn had been lurking around this area for a long time. She knew this dinosaur couldn't stay indoors forever, so when the Bat Tyrant Dragon stepped out, she rushed at him at top speed, landing a hammer blow to its head.

The blow was so sudden that the Bat Tyrant Dragon was caught off-guard, staggering a bit, and seizing the moment, Harley Quinn whooshed onto its back.

The small area at the back of the Bat Tyrant Dragon's head was its weak spot since its arms were too short to reach, and movements of shaking its head or wagging its tail wouldn't cover it. Harley Quinn specifically targeted this point, clinging to it tenaciously and refusing to let go.

Unlike Damian, Harley Quinn was well-prepared with a plan. She took out a set of Tyrannosaurus Rex tack and fitted it over the head of the Bat Tyrant Dragon.

Then, with a flick of the reins, she shouted, "Giddyup!" and sped off on the Bat Tyrant Dragon.

Harley Quinn's intention was simple: having finally gotten her hands on such a treasure, she naturally wanted to show it off to her dear Mr. J, and incidentally make up for the regret of having overslept that morning and missing the chance to welcome Batman.

So, Harley Quinn charged into the Joker Gang's headquarters on the back of the Bat Tyrant Dragon.

After all, the Bat Tyrant Dragon wasn't a real Tyrannosaurus Rex; it wasn't flesh and blood but made entirely of alloy. It had just undergone a comprehensive upgrade by Batman, and the Joker Gang's explosives, bullets, and cold weapons couldn't harm it in the slightest.

Mistakenly, the Joker had no interest in managing the chaos outside – he was busy studying the nature of the blood. He thought it was just another crazy thing Harley Quinn had brought in to cause a riot, something that often happened among the Joker Gang, so he didn't bother with it.

But he hadn't expected this particular crazy thing to be a bit too much. Harley Quinn, riding the Bat Tyrant Dragon, cut a swath through the Joker Gang's headquarters, causing absolute mayhem wherever she went.

The ground kept trembling, screams echoed continuously, until a speck of dust from the ceiling fell into the vial of blood, and the Joker finally couldn't stand it anymore.

"Harley! Quiet down! You damn..."

Just as the Joker stepped out of his room, a massive shadow loomed over him, charging at him like a sudden blitz.

Bang!

When the Joker woke up again, what he saw was the familiar ceiling of the Bat Cave Jail.
