Chapter 3276 - Chapter 2419: Spirit Assault (Thirty-Seven)_1

With a rustle, a pile of colorful gemstones was dumped onto the table. A robot blinked its eyes, looking at the doctor in a white coat across from it and said, "Sir, are you going to play Infinite Ultron again? But hasn't he already..."

"Yes, there is no Infinite Ultron in this universe anymore, so you are the only Infinite Ultron." Shiller gave his robot butler a thumbs-up and said, "Listen, you know about that Evil Stark, right? The one who had been wandering around in our cosmos, who recently went home."

"Oh, I know him. Jarvis even told me to keep an extra eye on him because he has to take care of Miss Wanda. What about him?"

"He took my plan and doesn't plan to pay. Help me collect the debt. Of course, debt collection is illegal, so you're just a coincidentally passing by evil super robot from that cosmos."

Ultron covered its forehead with a finger very humanely and said, "But I'm not..."

"Who says you're not? Which good robot can get this?" Shiller said, bending over: "But it was a lot of trouble for me."

Then Ultron watched helplessly as Shiller placed a glove made of metal on the table, with six neat indentations on the back.

Three days ago, at the Circumstellar Sector Intergalactic Security Office, Thanos opened the door, welcomed Shiller in, and said, "What kind of wind has brought the good doctor here? When Loki said you were coming, I thought I had heard wrong."

"What? Not happy to see me?" Shiller smiled, surveying Thanos's office as he spoke.

"How could that be? Please allow me to represent the Intergalactic Security Headquarters in welcoming your arrival. The doors here are always open for you, Doctor."

"I indeed came here on serious business." Shiller sat down on the couch with Thanos seated opposite him, both holding drinks and beginning to chat.

"I saw your speech about this quarter's star-level security achievements that you gave in the hall of the Circumstellar Sector Intergalactic Alliance Headquarters on the newly established interstellar news channel in New York. Honestly, I didn't expect you to have made such a great contribution to interstellar security in places unseen by most star civilizations."

"It's all in a day's work." Thanos said with a smile: "Maintaining interstellar security is a long-term job, and we're just getting started."

Shiller crossed one leg over the other, wrapped his hands around his foremost knee, and looked at Thanos and said, "Hmm, I must admit, our cosmos has become safer, more harmonious, and stable because of your presence."

"But what if, I mean just if, there was some cosmos where interstellar security wasn't given much attention, devoid of a symbolic and leading figure like yourself to guide them in such work, where they were quite neglectful, leading the situation to fall into complete chaos and disorder, what would you do then?"

Thanos thought for a moment—this must be the real business Shiller came for—and after mulling it over, he replied, "To restore order, we'd likely not be able to avoid using violence, and if the situation had gotten terribly bad, we might have to partly believe in 'what is not broken, must be shattered.'

Shiller nodded slightly in approval, and then asked, "So, based on your extensive experience in interstellar security, what kind of approach would be better for justifiable use of force, if needed?"

"Large-scale military forces would likely cause panic." Thanos, well understanding Shiller's hint, said: "I think small-scale, hard-to-detect yet powerful special forces might be a good choice."

"Of course, I agree, but on the other hand, not all races have the naturally superior physique of the God Clan from the Nine Major Kingdoms..."

Thanos seemed to catch on to something else and said, "Then they might have to rely on some weapons for assistance."

"But firearms would be rather substandard..."

"Perhaps magic is a good choice."

"The traditional mages take too long in their training..."

"Then a fast-track approach should be taken." Thanos nodded slightly and said, "I think maybe, Divine Artifacts?"

"Brilliant idea." Shiller snapped his fingers in praise and said, "But after all, I'm just an ordinary human; I really don't have any ideas about crafting, and I don't know who would have the capability to create the right Divine Artifacts."

"Oh, I see." Thanos stood up and said, "I think while interstellar security should be based in our own cosmos, if it can be extended further and wider, it would also be a wonderful thing."

"One who considers the far-reaching implications will inevitably contribute to the interstellar security of multiple cosmoses." Shiller added.

"But the expert in crafting is both far in the stars and close at hand." Thanos put on his glasses, crouched down, and started rummaging through a box in the very bottom corner, saying, "Among the Nine Major Kingdoms, the Dwarf Kingdom is renowned as blacksmiths; the weapons they crafted for the Aesir, imbued with divine power, are exceedingly potent and envied by many magic civilizations. I believe that if anyone can contribute to interstellar security in this manner, it must be them."

Shiller also stood up and walked over to the office desk, saying, "Yes, the Nine Major Kingdoms led by the Asgardian Commander should indeed shoulder more responsibility in this regard."

"I think His Majesty the God King will cherish this opportunity to commit fully and serve as an example of an interstellar security guardian."

Thanos pulled out a stack of documents, placed them on the desk, and said, "And I, just a small Circumstellar Sector Intergalactic Security Commissioner, can only offer blueprints of a weapon that I found on a lost star long ago, which might be used for the interstellar security of other cosmoses. Of course, the manufacturing costs will be a tiny bit high."

Shiller picked up the documents without even looking at them, and tucked them away, saying, "Then I'm afraid I'll have to recommend that Lord Loki, who is in charge of procurement, commission the Intergalactic League Commerce Guild to help Asgard find the materials. By the way, what's the contact information for the head of the guild?"

"Oh, sorry, I've been too busy lately, I'm afraid I won't have time to contact them. Why don't you help me liaise with both sides..."

"Easy enough." Thanos pushed his glasses up, smiling as he walked Shiller to the door and said, "I guarantee this will be a transaction satisfying to both parties."

```
"That's always the case, goodbye, sir."
Shiller contacted Loki with the utmost urgency, holding the document and rushing to the Rainbow Bridge. As soon as he landed, he saw Loki with damp hair, arms crossed, looking at him.
"Are you on fire or what?" Loki complained, "Thor and I finally had a free moment to soak in a bath."
"Sorry to interrupt your quality time, but this is urgent." Shiller stuffed the documents that Thanos had given him into Loki's arms and said, "Help me find the Dwarf King and get this thing crafted."
Loki glanced down and his eyes widened because, on the cover of the documents, he saw a design drawing of a glove.
"Isn't this the Infinity Gauntlet?" Loki muttered in astonishment; he had seen this object with the Lokis of other universes.
"Exactly, the Infinity Gauntlet. I just got these blueprints from Thanos. How soon can you get it done?"
"Do you hear yourself? A few days? This is an artifact meant to bear Infinity Gems. You toss a blueprint at us expecting us to make it, without even specifying what materials to use!"
"The material doesn't really matter, I don't actually need you guys to create a real divine artifact." Shiller waved his hand and said, "It just has to look the part, resembling the Infinity Gauntlet, and it must look cool, like if you don't destroy a few universes with it, you're missing out."
Loki raised an eyebrow and sized up Shiller, "What are you up to this time?"
"Relax, our target isn't this universe; it's another one. Just go ahead and take care of it."
"I'm getting less and less reassured."
But in the end, Loki took the blueprint and instructed Shiller to wait for him under the World Tree. Shiller, seeing Thor still soaking in the pool drinking juice, let out a contented sigh when he entered the comfortable spring water.
"Where's Loki?" Thor asked.
"He'll be here soon. Oh, and you might soon hear some news about Asgard defending intergalactic security in another universe. Don't worry, you won't actually need to go; I'll handle it."
"Not worry??" Thor nearly spit out his juice, he sat up and looked at Shiller, "I wasn't worried until you said the last part. What are you planning now?"
"It's another universe, but I didn't say how far away. Don't worry about it."
Soon, a harried Loki returned, not holding the documents. He said, "Eitri gave me an earful, accused me of belittling him by asking him to make a toy. It took some explaining before he reluctantly agreed to do it; should be done in an afternoon."
"He didn't hit you with a hammer, consider yourself lucky given your delicate health," Thor said grumpily, "If I'd asked him to craft a fake, he'd chase me with a hammer from Nidavellir all the way to Jotunheim."
"So, this thing's a fake?" Ultron, after scanning with his energy scanner, found that the glove on the table indeed had a weak energy reaction. Although its appearance was intimidating, even just by the hardness of the material, it couldn't be considered top-notch.
"What's the use of this, then?" Ultron asked, somewhat puzzled.
"Mainly for show." Shiller was busily pressing the gemstones one by one into place, which made Ultron rather nervous. He said, "Wait, stop assembling it. What if it actually works?"
"Even if it works here, it'll be useless once we leave this universe." Shiller pressed the last yellow gemstone in place and said, "Wear it to give that Evil Iron Man in silver-white war armor a bit of trouble, like threatening to snap away half the population in his universe or something."
"Won't I get smashed to bits?" Ultron retracted his neck and said, "I heard from Jarvis that guy's pretty tough."
"What are you afraid of? You're a robot; even if your body gets smashed, your consciousness is still stored in my High Tower, right? We just build you a new body and you're good as new."
"But I should at least know what the plan is."
"I told you, there's no specific plan, just go with the flow. If you don't feel like fighting him, just stay until the time is up." Shiller spread his hands and said, "It's up to you."
"Really no plan?"
"Really no plan."
Ultron looked at Shiller skeptically, picked up the glove, and put it on his mechanical arm. Then, he walked through the portal, looking back every three steps."
Although Ultron was certain that Shiller wasn't telling the whole truth, he decided to go check it out anyway; he was also a bit curious about that Evil Iron Man.
But of course, he wasn't going to rush straight into a confrontation with Stark. The phenomenon of Shiller's appearances wasn't just for fun. After being around Shiller for a while, most people would instinctively stay behind the scenes at first, observing the situation clearly before acting.
As soon as Ultron stepped out of the portal, he saw a TV in a shop window on the street broadcasting news.
"Extremis Biotech Corporation has announced that it will establish a comprehensive global biomedical center, with the aim of advancing medical technology and enhancing human happiness through medical means..."
