As Wanda came back to her senses, sweat and tears flowed down together, and she looked at Jarvis in some panic.
Jarvis hurried over to embrace her.
"I saw someone was going to hurt my child, they approached him with a knife, I have to stop them, I have to stop them…"
Wanda tried to stand up from the chair while gasping for breath, but Jarvis used a bit of strength to hold her down, then said, "You are safe, Wanda, the child is inside you right now, no one can threaten him, I'm here, you and the child are both safe."
After gasping for a while, Wanda finally calmed down, then she realized that she might have been tricked.
"I'm sorry." Wanda said with some sadness, "I didn't know I could still be mind-controlled in the psychic world, I haven't dropped the defense of The power of Scarlet, but somehow, I was affected."
"Tell us what happened." Stark said.
Wanda recounted the events truthfully, but she didn't quite understand either because she hadn't actually seen the little girl, but she heard the punk woman's shouts.
"It seems that the personality called Susan has the ability to evoke other people's emotions." Stark stroked his chin, took a paper and pencil from the side to start recording and said, "You said that at the moment of the emotional outburst, you felt an urge to explode, this might be her way of hurting others, manipulating your emotions to make your powers explode."
"It's hard to judge the specific strength." Jarvis said objectively, "Wanda is not someone with great emotional self-control, it's not her forte, or you could say it's precisely her weakness."
"This is a bit troublesome." Stark shook his head and said, "Clearly, this is also my weakness, people with rich emotions are very afraid of these kinds of superpower users, they naturally counter us."
"Then we need someone with excellent self-control, or someone who actually has no emotions, to deal with them." Jarvis sighed and said, "The former me might have been fine, but now probably not."
"Who can be completely without emotions? As long as it's a sentient being... wait, build a robot?"
Just as Jarvis was about to discuss this possibility, his expression changed, he frowned and said, "Things are not going well on Charles's side either."
In fact, Charles had just been heavily thrown out, the man he faced raised his hand, and Charles flew straight up, then was smashed to the ground once again.
Charles took a deep breath, focused his attention, and the opponent staggered backwards and fell. He quickly scrambled up.
The man in the jacket also narrowed his eyes and said, "A mind power user? We just so happen to lack that, how about an opportunity for you to join us?"
Charles remained silent, extending one hand, the man with the silver helmet began swaying from side to side, trying to punch his left face with his right fist, then grabbing his cape trying to pull himself down.
Charles relaxed slightly, the opponent should be able to control gravity, but didn't seem to have special defenses against psychic abilities, as long as he could be disrupted, that was good enough.
However, in that moment of relaxation, he did not realize that a wafting green smoke was spreading along the ground from the man in the jacket's feet.
By the time the green smoke reached Charles's feet, it was too late, Charles instantly felt unable to concentrate, and illusions began appearing before his eyes.
He had been poisoned, and it was a neurotoxin!
Charles gritted his teeth and fought to keep his spirits up, in his blurred and misty vision, he saw a figure dressed in a joker's costume made of green plants walk out from behind the man in the jacket.
Around him swirled a cloud of green spores, the poison gas was emitting from the spores.
Charles tried to form a psychic shield with his own mental energy, but the lapse in attention earlier had led to him being poisoned. The hallucinations and blurred vision from the neurotoxin were unavoidable, and as he focused his attention to fight against the plant joker, with a loud thump, a stone hit him squarely in the abdomen, sending him flying out.
The man with the silver helmet, who could wield gravity, recovered, and once again pressed Charles to the ground.
With a swish, Charles's figure disappeared, and when he reseated himself in the chair, he was drenched in cold sweat.
He shook his head and said, "It's not that simple, no wonder David was also interfered with to the extent that he couldn't live normally, each of them is very strong, unreasonably strong."
"Who did you run into?"
Charles described his encounter.
"The one with the helmet sounds a bit like Magneto." Stark said, "His ability is gravity, so we'll call him Gravita for now, it matches Magneto."
"Previously, Wanda likened that fat woman to The Hulk, so let's call her She-Hulk for now."
"As for the little girl with emotional manipulation abilities, I can't think of who she corresponds to, although I'd like to say she's a bit like Shiller, but it's clear Shiller doesn't want any emotion to explode, it's a bit unlucky for him, so let's call the little girl Susan for now."
"And about the plant capable of poisoning, I was going to call him Plant Joker, but I heard that Joker is not very lucky in another universe, so let's just call him Toxic Plant for now."
"Wait, have we forgotten someone?" Stark turned his head to Jarvis and asked, "How come Shiller hasn't come out yet?"
"They've started fighting," Jarvis said with a mix of laughter and tears, "To be exact, Shiller handed each of them a knife, and now he's being chased all over the city by them... Oh, he just jumped onto that manta ray."
The next second, Shiller's consciousness returned.
But it didn't return completely; the violent personality trait only lingered for a few seconds, then receded, and what rose to the surface was still Greed.
While pondering, Greed said, "Violence told me that all the other personas are fine, it just encountered one that's tricky."
"The woman emitting the blue glow?" Wanda clearly guessed it and said, "She's the only one I can't see through."
"She is an entity of information," Shiller said. "In short, a moving knowledge base, a Concept God that represents knowledge."
"Ah?"
"Don't be so surprised; haven't we encountered many Concept Gods before?"
"But what is a Concept God that represents knowledge? Is there really such a god?" Wanda asked.
"Yes, of course, there is. Anything that can be defined as knowledge, this woman knows it. But according to my speculation, she must have limitations, rather than truly being omnipotent."
"Even so, that's quite impressive," Jarvis said. "It's hard to imagine how vast her data bank could be."
"Yes, if she could answer questions, she could almost give the answer to every question."
"Great, not this again," Stark said with some resignation. "I hate all this godly mumbo jumbo."
Shiller stood up from his chair and said, "It seems we have still underestimated their strength, but what's scarier is that this might not be her full strength."
"The existence of that woman proves that there's probably more than just some derivative personas in David's psychic battlefield; some strange things have mixed in as well, like gods and demons."
"Don't tell me she has a Cosmic Sorcerer in her head."
"It's hard to say, but given the situation, her brain should contain its own cosmos, and the energy level of this universe is very high, much higher than the universe we are in. Almost everyone is an Alpha Level Mutant or higher."
"However, the brainwave test indicates that the bandwidth isn't very broad," Jarvis said with a touch of worry. "That means we can't send in the same number of Alpha-Level Mutants to confront them, or else David's own psyche won't be able to bear it."
"That's the issue," Shiller said. "This means we must be selective, picking the right counters for every strong mutant persona."
"To do that, we need to know what personas he actually has, and what their capabilities are, which I'm afraid will require our own investigation; the data from David isn't reliable at all."
Wanda nodded with lingering fear. Of course, before they went in, they had asked David what personas he had. His answer was very vague, mentioning a few abilities that didn't sound too strong.
But once the confrontation began, everyone realized that they weren't indeed strong, only not in comparison to God.
"Alright, stop beating around the bush," Stark decided to confront Shiller and said, "You must have known this would happen and clearly aren't as puzzled about finding a strategy as you make out to be."
"Quiet, I'm thinking," Shiller said, frowning with a serious demeanor. "Even if I'm not thinking about how to solve the problem, but how to maximize profits, I'm still thinking hard."
"What are you up to now?" Wanda widened her eyes as she looked at Shiller and said, "You're not thinking of flipping them like vegetables again, right? That would cause a real mess."
"Treating them as mere vegetables is a bit dismissive," Shiller pondered and said. "The strength of these personas is worth writing a recipe for, but first, let's figure out which personas are the troublesome ones."
"Wanda is in no state to go back in," Jarvis said. "I'll go; if we take turns among our few, we should figure it out quickly, at least we'll understand the personas in the city."
Soon they started working methodically, Shiller, Jarvis, and Charles took turns entering, each time provoking different organizations and powers at different fall points, and indeed, they gathered quite a bit of information.
There are three main forces in the city; one is the Flame Gang, seemingly led by a persona with the ability to manipulate fire, their approach to this war is to kill, kill, kill, eliminate all other personas, leaving only a few main ones to control the body.
Another is the Soulstream Sect, believing that absorbing other personas and gaining their powers is the way out. Their approach is to continually find and absorb new personas, with their ultimate goal being to defeat God, led by a persona with the ability to absorb other souls and personas.
There's also the X-Alliance, the most mysterious organization with unknown leaders and unclear motives. It appears to be a gathering place for disparate individuals who neither support the Flame Gang nor the Soulstream Sect. Its members are also very secretive, with few known abilities.
Punk Girl, She-Hulk, and Susan belong to the Flame Gang, while Jacket Man, Gravita, and Toxic Plant belong to the Soulstream Sect. The mysterious Spirit of Knowledge belongs to the X-Alliance.
The Flame Gang has seven main combatants, while the Soulstream Sect has six. Based on their current information, these two factions have different strengths; the Flame Gang favors large and powerful moves, while the Soulstream Sect leans towards rules and control.
Flicking through the detailed names, appearances, and capabilities organized by Jarvis, a plan gradually took shape in Shiller's mind.
The tip of the pen moved slightly, and an image appeared on the blank space of the page—it was a bat, yet not entirely a bat.
