As summer had passed, the nights in New York had started to become a bit chilly. When the clear daylight was enveloped by the night, the stars became extra bright. Amidst the twinkling starlight, the brilliance of thousands of machine clusters, like a boiling tide, rushed towards the Earth.
Steve put down his shield, staring at the seemingly endless mechanical creatures in the sky, he swallowed hard.
Truth be told, he hadn't expected Stark to present himself in this form, he thought the magic reactor was just to build a bigger Iron Man at most.
The night sky of New York was gradually getting obscured. The mechanical creatures in the sky were even denser than the dark clouds of an approaching storm, and the moving robots, like a huge school of fish, swept towards the battlefield.
When Peter jumped down from the air, a flying machine spiraled past him, he murmured, "This should be the 23rd generation, more flexible than before, and less airflow…"
Countless shuttle-like robots passed by him, the airflow lifting Peter's hair, he looked up into the sky, he seemed to feel Stark looking down at him.
Peter stood on the rooftop of a tall building, the wind howling around him. He instinctively reached out a hand, the sky god responded to his call and a storm made up of metallic parts descended, countless parts from the sky swirling toward him.
The parts circled around Peter's Spider-Man suit, slowly covering his body. Peter was lifted into the mid-air by them, accompanied by the sound of the parts snapping into place, pieces of armor shone like fish scales. The plating between them flipped, the metal limbs in the back unfolded layer by layer, propping up Peter's body. As he stood up, a gigantic Iron Spider appeared in the sky over New York.
At the same time, Steve was also enhanced. The mechanical parts on his unarmed arm formed a giant cannon. With a wave of his hand, a fierce light beam shot at the rioting tentacle, the dark energy forming the tentacle scattered like a wave, Steve yelled, "Effective attack! Keep going!"
Peter then jumped up, the magical luminescent limbs slashed through the dark curtain, the fist covered in armor caused the riot to stagger.
The armor congealed on Spider-Man and Captain America was from Stark's magic reactor, so it could effectively damage the chaotic power within the riot, unlike the previous physical attacks that were all bark no bite, unable to get close.
The other heroes on the battlefield also received similar enhancements. Along with Stark's mechanical army starting to become more and more flexible, the riot was almost in constant retreat, the chaotic power was suppressed within about ten meters around him.
As the wind grew stronger, a giant white figure appeared in the sky above Earth, but it was not Iron Man, or rather, it was a Titan formed by countless machine clusters forming an Iron Demon God.
Innumerable fortress-like mechanical nests filled the entire night sky. Along with the roar of the machines, an endless flood of mechanical creatures poured out of the fortress nests, forming a massive white Demon God.
It was no longer a mecha individual, but a Titan formed by thousands of machine clusters. Even with Peter's vision, he couldn't fully see the process of self-replication, production, and modification of these machines.
When Stark's wisdom was realized into reality by magic, people could comprehend the formidable power produced by this endless wisdom. When he was finally no longer restricted by the weak human body, and his thoughts were liberated infinitely, Stark saw the truth of the multiverse.
He saw the universe in front of him transmute into colored glass beads, rolling on the ground, and with each and every glass bead, contained countless small individual universes.
He could even see that the hims in those universes were thinking in front of the lab bench, or flying over New York in their armor. Their life, fate, and the end transformed into rays of light, stored in the Iron Demon God's consciousness.
This view only lasted for an instant, Stark felt, the speed at which the magic energy in his chest was being consumed was beyond imagination, forcing him to suppress his curiosity and refocus his gaze back on Earth.
Accompanying the return of Stark's thoughts, the machine clusters no longer blindlessly expanded infinitely, instead took place was artificial design, selection, and upgrades. Numerous mechanical fortresses were combined and assembled. On the mechanical production line, subunits of various machine clusters completed several iterations in just a few seconds.
Nick Fury walked out of the S.H.I.E.L.D. Office, looked up at the sky, he couldn't help but swear, because Earth had been completely covered by Stark's mechanical army.
In Odin's Fairy Palace of Asgard, Loki stood beside Odin, Strange stood by The Ancient One. When the sound of the machinery echoed to Asgard, a voice came from the red whirlpool of Seratoke: "He has ascended... become... the only one..."
Nothing that happened in the Nine Major Kingdoms could escape the eyes of the Father of All Gods; Odin watched as the Iron Demon God Stark descended upon them, felt his power that had for a moment broken the confines of the individual universe.
Mephisto also spoke, "…Is that the deposit we previously submitted?"
"Human beings indeed are a race with unlimited potential, they can actually use this power to break through the universe barrier and ascend themselves to the unique state...."
At this moment, the cosmic sorcerers in the Fairy Palace each had their own thoughts, apparently they also hadn't anticipated that humans had the power to confront Nal, making many aspiring gods calm down.
"Alright..." The Ancient One's somewhat indifferent voice rang out, he looked back at Strange, then said, "Let's all take our places."
Different colored rays flowed out from Odin's Fairy Palace in Asgard, entering various different dimensions, then began absorbing the incoming cosmic chaotic power into their bodies.
The Ancient One and Odin chose a good spot for themselves, everything went smoothly once things began, just as they anticipated, Nal, to be able to control the riot, began to continuously transfer his own power through the opened channel.
But very quickly, the development of things defied everyone's expectations.
Over the Greenwich Village, while Peter was battling the riot back and forth, he heard a familiar voice say, "Good evening."
Turning around, Peter looked at Shiller, saying in surprise, "Doctor, how did you get here? It's dangerous!"
"It's alright, I just came to have a look."
As Peter was about to speak, the massive Doctor Lizard jumped over, saying to Peter, "You go and cooperate with that flaming Skull Head, leave this side to me."
Peter, somewhat uneasy, gave Shiller a glance, but seeing his calm expression, he left.
In his mind, Shiller said to the Gray Mist, "Is this distance enough? Can he detect you now?"
"It needs to be a little closer."
So, with a blink, Shiller arrived on a building closer to the riot, his entire being engulfed in the chaotic power around the riot.
Steve, on the roof a little farther away, was using his shield to fend off the constantly squirming tentacles, when he saw the riot, the main body in the sky, suddenly stiffen.
Then wave after wave of black tide erupted, the riot let out a roar, and he was furious.
Countless tentacles, wrapped in a rich dark power, began to sweep without any concern, the area around him, the buildings were all turned into dust.
Shiller had turned into a cloud of gray mist, floating close to the riot, but perhaps because it was too close, the riot raged for a long time before realizing that what he was looking for was right under his feet.
When the riot cast his gaze on him, Shiller suddenly disappeared, and the riot was stunned. So was Nal, controlling the riot from afar on Klinter Star to invade Earth.
Suddenly, Shiller appeared from another direction. The riot turned around and found that Shiller was gesturing to him. From the depths of space, Nal's angry roar was heard, thinking the insect was making fun of him.
Nal, of course, recognized the gray mist on Shiller, the special symbiont that had suddenly disappeared. It was the precious result of his thousands of years of imprisonment, the hope of breaking free from his cage.
The riot tried to smack him, but just as his palm, imbued with the power of chaos, was falling, Shiller disappeared again.
The signals coming from the special symbiont made Nal grow more anxious, the thing he wanted was right under his nose, and all he needed to do was swing his hand to catch it. But the riot tried several times, whether it was using his own body to attack, or swinging his tentacles, Shiller was always appearing, disappearing, and then reappearing, none of these attacks could harm him.
Nal was surprisingly angry. His mind, filled with chaos, stopped him from thinking, and this situation was caused by his adding special abilities to the Gray Mist.
Nal created the Gray Mist for the purpose of escaping. The reason he chose the form of mist was to give the symbiont incredible speed and the characteristic of being untargetable by his enemies.
As a result, now he himself couldn't attack the symbiont.
If Nal's own body descended now, he could have used the Black Death Sword to attack, that sword was the weakness of all symbionts and can effectively cause damage.
But now, Nal was still trapped deep in Klinter Star, he was like a player controlling a game character with a joystick. Even if his physical body in reality was a martial arts champion or a master swordsman, it wouldn't affect his inability to catch a tiny insect on the screen.
It was then that Stark, the Iron Demon God of the mechanical army, began to move. Countless swarms of machines one after another entered the fray above the Earth, the mechanically fortified overloading with magical brilliance, the vast mechanical army, inexhaustible and endless like an insect race, enveloped the riot.
Perhaps influenced by Shiller's suggestion, the Iron Demon Stark wasn't a complete individual, but a combined consciousness composed of countless swarms. This gave him a hyperdimensional perspective. He could be precise down to each component while also serving as a hive mind commanding the mechanical army.
For the chaos riot controlled by Nal, the machines seemed to have no effect, and initially, that was indeed the case. The first group of machines that got close to the chaos were quickly corroded by the power of chaos, their components began to rapidly age and decay, but just the second wave of machines behind them had chaos resistance.
The third wave of machines increased their speed against the tentacles, able to agilely weave through the waving tentacles and rush to the riot's face to explode. The fourth wave of machines exhibited freezing properties. While this was unable to affect the power of chaos, through hundreds of machines triggering freezing explosions together, the riot's physical body could barely move.
After several tentative attacks, the real mechanical tide arrived. The riot faced an attack from all angles without any blind spots, and various forms of machines shaped like an abyssal mouth encompassed the riot and all of his dark energy.
After the Demon God's move, Nal discovered that his control over the riot was getting weaker, while Iron Demon Stark was getting stronger and stronger.
But what Nal wanted was within his reach, and he was becoming more and more anxious. The frustration set his chaotic nature ablaze, and he began to unreservedly channel his power towards Earth.
Waiting until Nal's rage escalated further, Shiller returned to human form and withdrew to a slightly farther location.
Then he opened the chat system, pulled down without hesitation, found Nal's avatar, opened the chat interface, and after making sure he was connected, Nal, who was far away in Klinter Star in Andromeda, heard that familiar voice:
"Hello, are you there? Nataru."
