Chapter 2994 - Chapter 2154: Ultimate New World (33)_1

Coulson incredulously rose slowly because he saw a massive light ring illuminate in the center of the waterfall flow above him.

A beam of light suddenly shone on Coulson's face, forcing him to shield his upper body with both arms, the next second a hand grabbed his arm and placed sunglasses on his face.

"Thanks! May!" Coulson sighed in relief, he just felt like his eyes were going to be burnt.

After putting on sunglasses, the light seemed even stranger, as if something like a camera had emerged inside, scanning everything around.

Isn't it a magical script? This thing looks more like a scanning device fixed by a mechanical arm.

Wait, ordinary people may say this is a paranormal phenomenon, but it might not really be, that folklorist said a god fell, but aren't gods just aliens?

Could there be an alien spacecraft inside Niagara Falls?

Coulson almost immediately confirmed this speculation, because compared to a god falling to Earth, he had encountered many more cases of alien spacecraft crashes in his lifetime.

Plainly speaking, powerful beings like the gods of Asgard falling to Earth wouldn't do much harm, at most they might kill some Earth creatures, but they themselves would be unscathed, and could just dust off their clothes and fly away.

If they really managed to hit the Earth at a speed that could knock off parts of their bodies, the Earth should have rolled smoothly out of the Milky Way by now, the physical strength of the Asgardians is simply unreasonable.

So the possibility of it actually being an alien spaceship is indeed greater, and from what Coulson knows, the civilizations that have the opportunity to crash on Earth all have impressive mechanical engineering skills, and follow a largely technology-based route.

An alien spacecraft is actually more controllable to Coulson's thinking, if it was a magical item and some curse had been cast on it, it would be more troublesome.

Coulson immediately said to May: "I think this thing will be retrieved. Can your grappling hook secure it? Take me up."

"No problem." May nodded.

She walked in front of Coulson, tied the equipment she had previously held to her waist, and then tied the other end to a safety jacket for Coulson to put on.

She immediately took out the grappling hook and began aiming while the extended mechanical arm was already planning to retract.

At the last moment, a grappling hook whizzed around the tail of the mechanical arm, May pressed the switch, the grappling hook contracted, and the two of them were carried by the mechanical arm as they flew towards the center of the great waterfall.

They had thought that they would be directly slapped down by the strong flow of water, but unexpectedly, the water didn't cause them any harm, the impact of the water flow seemed to be non-existent, they passed straight through the waterfall.

There was not a mountain wall behind the waterfall, but a vast cavity beyond human imagination.

Coulson was completely stiff, he lifted his trembling arm, pointing at the thing in the center of the cavity and said.

"...What is that?!!!"

And the minute and hour hands of his wristwatch merged, with the time pointing to 12 a.m. on November 12th.

Southeast of Lake Ontario, Ontario, Canada, November 12, 9:30 AM.

Aisha gasping for breath put Bruce down, then sat down next to a tree root herself.

Flying wasn't tiring, flying with such a burden was alright too, and dodging cannonballs while carrying the burden was slightly strenuous, but what was most tiring was that this burden was too fragile, he wouldn't even be able to withstand being brushed by a cannonball, and if the angle of swing was a little larger, his brain could be shaken up.

As Aisha was dodging cannonballs while still having to think about how to fly as smoothly as possible, even this short journey had cost her considerable energy.

So after seeing the fog up again around them, she simply didn't feel like running anymore, and pushed the still slightly dizzy Bruce with her hand.

Bruce sighed, he didn't feel like running either, he stood up, picked up Aisha and headed towards where the fog was thicker, he wanted to see what was there.

A silhouette appeared at the end of the dense fog, Bruce paused because he was uncertain whether this was the mysterious Fog Guest or visitors from other dimensions.

When this figure gradually approached and revealed its true face, Bruce confirmed it was the latter, because a black-haired woman arrived, wearing a uniform primarily in white.

Upon seeing Bruce, she immediately retreated a few steps vigilantly, but soon showed a surprised look, blinking her eyes and exclaimed: "Bruce Wayne?"

Bruce was puzzled, wondering why so many people in this strange universe knew him, what had the Batman of other universes done to be famous in so many universes?

The woman in the white uniform came forward, shook hands with Bruce and said, "Hello, I'm Silk, er, you can consider me a special Spiderman, I've seen your picture in "Gotham Travel Notes", so I recognized you."

Bruce clearly understood. He really wanted to meet this Spiderman who authored "Gotham Travel Notes" and to admire his world-shaking masterpiece.

"We don't have time for pleasantries." This special Spiderman named Spider Silk was evidently not as cheerful as the Spiderman Bruce had met before, her temperament and tone were much colder.

"Have you met the Spiderman of this cosmos? Just now, I found out that he is in trouble, he..."

Pain crossed Spider Silk's face. She once had a romantic relationship with the Amazing Spiderman, although it was brief and ended fruitlessly, she still found it hard to accept the reality.

"I can't sense his vital signs anymore." Spider Silk took a deep breath, "Maybe my spider-sense is acting up, but I think it's impossible. I can't do anything, so I want to look for him."

Bruce replayed the encounter with the Spiderman in his mind. Since there was nothing else to do in this mystical space anyway, he decided to share his encounter with Peter.

However, Spider Silk found some clues from some details. She said, "You mentioned meeting the Spiderman on a morning drive to the suburbs of San Francisco, and then immediately ended up here. Does that mean it was still morning before you arrived?"

Bruce and Aisha nodded together. Spider Silk furrowed her brows, "But it was noon when I arrived in this cosmos."

"The space-time here is chaotic," Bruce sighed, "No one knows when we will meet the other."

Meanwhile, Aisha realized that Spider Silk was from the future. She said that Spiderman was already dead at that point. This meant that before long, Bruce would gain Spiderman's powers. Bruce had won.

Aisha felt that she couldn't hide this from Bruce. He had the right to know everything related to this power and then deciding whether to obtain it. Instead of regretting it after obtaining the power in ignorant bliss.

Aisha tugged at Bruce's sleeve, whispered a few words into his ear, and Bruce's eyes widened slowly.

"Do you have time now?" Bruce asked, "I ran into some trouble earlier that might be related to you."

Spider Silk nodded, "Alright, you gave me information too. This is a fair exchange."

So, Bruce began to recount the events he experienced during the previous time resets, specifically focusing on what he encountered the first time he arrived in this cosmos, before the reset.

At first, Spider Silk listened as if it were a story, keenly interested. But soon, she realized something was off. She looked at Bruce with some surprise, "You mean after being bitten by a spider, you suddenly gained immense strength and a danger-sensing ability?"

"Is that what it's called, 'danger-sensing'?" Bruce looked a bit lost, "I can only feel a nerve in my brain jumping. It gives me headaches and allows me to do some actions that I couldn't do normally."

"Good heavens, that's Spider-sense!" Spider Silk muttered incredulously, "You've turned into Spiderman? But..."

Spider Silk's expression froze, apparently realizing something. She had just sensed that Spiderman lost his vital signs, and this Batman from the past said he would gain Spiderman's power in the future.

Usually, there would not be more than one Spiderman in a cosmos. Even if there were, it wouldn't be through a normal designation by the Spider Totem. It would typically be through cloning or gene transplantation.

Batman from another cosmos clearly could not have any cloning or gene-related connection with Spiderman. That left only one possibility, Spiderman died, and Bruce Wayne became the new Spiderman.

When Spider Silk snapped out of her thoughts, she found Bruce staring at her with disbelief. She knew she must have spoken her thoughts aloud.

"Are you saying the power I received is Spiderman's?" Bruce furrowed his eyebrows, "I haven't met many Spidermen. You all..."

"If you gained such power after being bitten by a spider, then I'm afraid that's the case." Spider Silk bit her lip. She didn't understand how Spiderman died.

Spider Silk couldn't quite believe that Batman might have killed Spiderman. On one hand, the Dark Knight who faced darkness alone in "Gotham Travel Notes" had left a good impression on all the Spidermen, making her believe that Batman could not do such a thing.

The Spiderman who wrote "Gotham Travel Notes" also emphasized Batman's no-kill policy, which was highly praised by many Spidermen, leaving a deep impression.

Also, on its own, how would Batman kill Spiderman? Although Batman was a master planner, Spiderman was not weak either. Spiderman should be able to escape. Even if he couldn't escape, couldn't he call Nick? The Amazing Spiderman had an emergency rescue device given to him by Nick.

Spider Silk felt a chill. She initially thought her spider-sense was erroneous. But now, it seemed that the Amazing Spiderman may really die soon.

Bruce felt even colder. So his acquisition of superpower was because the original Spiderman died.

Bruce was calculating in his mind. In his timeline, Spiderman might already be dead and the Spiderman he met in the Fog Realm was from the past.

Then as long as he encounters the Spiderman from the past again and informs him of his possible demise, he might be able to stop Spiderman's death.

But this also meant that he could never gain the immense power he had been longing for.

At this moment, this novice Batman encountered the first dilemma in his life.
