Chapter 2854 - Chapter 2039: Ignite the Strange Dream in Your Heart (32)_1

Loki and Thanos must have conspired with Shockface and his gang to invite him over, or perhaps they were collaborating with Queen Lilandra of the Shi'ar Empire.

They must have known ahead of time that Shockface was going to betray them. They deliberately invited the Ravager fleet into the Nine Major Kingdoms and then tricked him into going to Earth.

In the cosmos, the Milky Way is remote, and its outskirts are practically uninhabited. It's a perfect place for murders and power usurpation. The door of the captain's cabin can't stop Shockface, who could have likely made his move at this time.

Normally this wouldn't have been discovered as they were just fighting inside the cabin, and they didn't fire at any planets or other spaceships. Even if the Asgard fleet had arrived, they could have dismissed it with a hasty explanation.

But who would have thought Loki also involved the humans this time? The man named Stark, the Iron Demon God, insisted their drones were damaged by the fleet. With Thor's thunderbolt, all evidence was obliterated, leaving them no room to dispute.

Then have the patrol fleet waiting nearby to come and make accusations, send a human representative to confirm this matter. This is what they intend: to target and expose.

Asgard isn't interested in these ruined ships and their cargo. Loki's intention was to force Yondu to let out the secret, to exchange the information he has on other interstellar pirates in order to save himself. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to leave the Milky Way alive today.

Yondu took a deep breath, looking up just in time to meet eyes with Quill. Quill looked confused, obviously wondering about his real father, but mostly worried about his safety.

"I am, of course, willing to cooperate fully with interstellar security. Let's talk this over in Asgard…" Yondu sighed and said.

Then, with a murderous look in his eyes, he looked at Shockface and his men lying on the floor and gritted his teeth, "But these rebels want to kill me. If they continue to follow me, I can't guarantee that I'll be able to contribute to interstellar security…"

Just then, a shimmering, electric hammer shot through the air, followed by a series of sharp cracks. Before the Guardians of the Galaxy could react, they were met with a shocking blast of electricity.

The power of Mjölnir was like a blade cutting through chives. In the flash of an eye, Shockface's men fell like flies. The few remaining ones trying to run were wiped out by Rocket Raccoon's gunfire.

Finally, Gamora stepped forward to finish off Shockface, but Yondu spoke up: "He has connections with the nobles of the Shi'ar Empire, evidence of their corruption."

Upon hearing this, Gamora hesitated. Loki gave a slight nod, and two warriors flew out from the Asgard spaceship and carried Shockface back to hold him for extradition to the Shi'ar Empire.

After this, Yondu felt somewhat relieved. He then looked at Loki and said, "I'll go back with you, you let Quill and the others leave on the ship."

Loki seemed to hesitate, but seeing Yondu's determined look, he knew he couldn't push any further. So, he nodded, "They can leave on your small spaceship, and the Ravager fleet stays as a compensation for the humans."

The last thing to discuss was the stay or departure of the remaining crew. Although Shockface had wooed many, there were still others loyal to Yondu and some innocent bystanders.

Yondu looked at Loki, and Loki looked at Captain Marvel. She took out her phone and discussed with Nick. "We need to give an explanation to Stark Group. They'll stay in SHIELD prison for a while until and then be sent to the Andromeda Galaxy. If there're no issues, they'll be dismissed on the spot."

Yondu knew this was because the humans wanted some intelligence about interstellar society through his crew. He didn't have much to say on it.

Given this turn of events, it's clear that the pirates can't continue. He suspected he'd have to hide in Asgard for a long time to avoid vengeance from interstellar pirates who were exterminated because of his leaked information.

Although Quill didn't want Yondu to go, he knew that the situation was stronger than human will. They couldn't sway Asgard and could only do their best to maintain both parties.

The crew remained on board, and Yondu steered the spaceship to the place where Thor's thunderbolt had exploded. He left the ship and handed Quill a letter as they passed each other in the air.

Afterwards, Yondu boarded the Asgard's ship, disappearing from the Guardians of the Galaxy's sight. The Ravager fleet and other escort ships were swallowed up by the orange cat in Captain Marvel's arms. She flew back to Earth.

In the vast universe, only the Guardians of the Galaxy and their small spaceship remained. They had no other choice but to board the spaceship and discuss their next move.

Quill couldn't wait to open the letter. The words on it were in standard English, but the handwriting was strange to Quill. He saw that it read:

"Hello, I am Jason Spartacus, the lord and king of Sparta Star. If you see this letter, it means the infamous Ravager pirates have completed their mission.

My child, you are the descendant of the Spartacus Royal Family, and I deeply regret the wrong I've done to you and your mother. But all of this has reasons. If the Ravager Team has found you, please let them take you back to Sparta Star, where I will tell you this story personally.

If you accidentally found out about this, please contact the Galactic Congress. I will be there waiting for you. The people of Spartacus Star need you. The royal bloodline that runs through you will bring you eternal glory.

- Jason Spartacus."

Quill stood there completely dumbfounded. The others came over and looked at the letter's contents, then at Quill. Gamora was the first to say, "Peter... Peter! Don't get fooled, anything you see may not be true…"

"No, that's not it." Quill came back to his senses. He shook his head, saying, "I've already been to the Spartacus Empire, and I've killed my enemy, the prince of Spartacus. I thought Yondu didn't know about it. He should have no knowledge of who I am!"

Quill recalled, "I told him that my mom was killed by a group of aliens and that I became an orphan. He sympathized with me and wanted to help me."

"But at that time I had guessed that my mother's killer most likely came from a very advanced civilization. I was worried about getting him involved, so when I went out for revenge, I didn't tell him at all,"

Quill looked down at the letter and said: "But if Yondu had already received this letter, could it be that when my spaceship crashed, it wasn't an accident that I happened upon the Ravager team? Is it because Yondu received this letter and specifically came looking for me?"

"If it was really my biological father who hired Yondu to find me, then why didn't he tell me anything about it when I found him? What exactly happened to my mother's death? Could there be more to the story?"

"I think it's very possible," Rocket Raccoon spoke up, "But only taking one side of the story is the stupidest thing to do. You'll only get the truth through your own investigation. It's hard to say whether Shockface was trying to drive a wedge between you two."

"I've got to return to Sparta Star," said Quill, standing up, "Even though the King always wants me to go back and take the throne, which I don't want to do, I need to ask him about this letter."

None of the others tried to stop him because as friends, they felt it was their duty to help Quill find out the truth.

Quill went to pilot the ship. Gamora was somewhat puzzled when she saw Rocket Raccoon heading to the ship's cargo bay. Rocket Raccoon just lowered his voice and said by the door, "I have a feeling this trip will bring us a bunch of trouble. I need to secure us an insurance."

After the door to the cargo bay closed, Rocket Raccoon pressed a few buttons on his arm, and as the call connected, Dr. Shiller's voice came through.

"Doctor, it's your handiwork again, isn't it?"

A deep laughter came from the other side, and an expression of helpless humanity emerged on Rocket Raccoon's furry face.

"Tell me what you're up to. I'll do my best to cooperate with you, just as before. But I hope you can give them a happy ending. You can do that, right?"

"And you can't afford another loss," Shiller said.

Rocket Raccoon answered with silence. Shiller's voice once again came over, "Turn around, look at the other side of the ship."

Rocket Raccoon turned around somewhat confusedly, only to see a small green egg in the corner of the narrow cargo bay.

With his eyes wide in surprise, Rocket Raccoon followed the green light and walked over. As his paw touched the green egg, black goo rushed out from behind.

The small raccoon body was instantly engulfed. After he struggled for some time, the black sludge disappeared into his body.

"Take back those impolite swear words in your head, stupid raccoon, I don't even want to parasitize you!"

A rugged and evil voice echoed in Rocket Raccoon's mind. Just as he was about to yell out, Venom said in his mind, "Don't make a sound. I'll tell you our plan. I assure you and your companions will be safe…"

In the cockpit, Quill found a set of coordinates written on the letter's paper. It was within the Milky Way, but near the center.

With a flicker of the engine's fire, the small spaceship flew towards the destination, disappearing into the darkness of space.

Meanwhile, in the private dining room of Disneyland on Earth, Shiller walked over and shook hands with Carol, saying: "Nice meeting you. Just call me Doctor Shiller."

"Doctor or PhD?"

"Doctor."

Carol nodded and walked over with Shiller towards the table, where along with familiar faces such as Loki, Nick, Strange, Stark, Steve, Bucky, there was also a stranger.

"Let me introduce you. This is Andy, the Human Resources Manager of Orlando Disney World," Nick quickly stood up to introduce them.

Carol walked over and shook hands but like all the others, she was somewhat puzzled, not knowing what they were gathering here to do.

Then Shiller quickly began to unravel the mystery.

"Among the group of interstellar pirates you recently caught, there should be a few prisoners, right? Well, Orlando Disney World has always been committed to providing visitors with the most immersive experience, with Star Wars Galaxy's Edge being one of our demonstration projects."

"The theme here is the bustling, mixed Batu Star journey. Although all our performers are quite professional and hardworking, manpower has its limits. Most humans find it hard to imagine how smugglers, black marketers, and intelligence traders traverse the cosmos."

The more Carol listened, the stranger it seemed. She first turned to look at Nick, and then looked at Shiller incredulously.

"You can't possibly be suggesting to let those interstellar pirates be actors at Disneyland?!"
