Chapter 2829 - Chapter 2016: Ignite the Strange Dream in Your Heart (Part 9)_1

A luxurious steam-powered boat had docked at the pier, with tourists waving mini Star-Striped flags and blowing whistles that popped out ribbons. Under the guidance of the crew, they began to board the vessel.

Once everyone had taken their seats and the tour guide was in place, a shining Stars and Stripes shield suddenly flew from the cabin, passing over everyone's heads, and circled before returning to the hand of a figure who had just descended from the second floor.

The tourists suddenly turned around and saw a highly familiar figure slowly walking toward the front of the cabin.

"Oh my God! The Captain! It's the Captain, Captain America!!!"

"God, is this an actor? Did Disney hire an actor to play Captain America?! Have they acquired the rights to represent the Captain?"

"No, it's not an actor. Look closely! Dad, he looks exactly like the man on the poster hanging in Grandpa's tool shed. He's the real Captain!!!"

"The real Captain! He is the real Captain!!"

A deafening chorus of cheers and screams filled the cabin. In the Marvel Universe setting, Captain America's fame was no less than Mickey Mouse's. Many times, they were on par, and at times, Captain America's figurines were even more popular.

Even when Nick and Disney negotiated their collaboration, he never sought out Captain America directly because he knew the persona of Captain America was priceless.

There could theoretically never be a company that fully controlled him. The only one the public could genuinely accept was Captain America himself because he was the real national hero of America.

Steve skillfully waved his arm, greeted the passengers in the cabin, and then walked to the front, standing next to the guide.

Steve had clearly coordinated with the crew before arriving. The tour guide wasn't surprised and turned to Steve with a smile, humorously announcing to the passengers.

"Oh my God, you all better leave me a good review, or else. Who knew, when I saw Captain America backstage just now, I was so nervous I forgot so many lines, I had to memorize them all over again!"

The guide's sour expression made all the passengers laugh. Immediately afterwards, Captain America knocked on his shield and said, "I'm pleased that Disneyland has given me this opportunity. I'm honored to board the Liberty Square cruise and share some stories from the past with you all."

"I never thought that to this day, we would still have such a forefront for promoting patriotic spirit. America still has patriots like you, no less passionate than those seventy years ago…"

"However, I have always believed that patriotism education shouldn't be about preaching, and it definitely shouldn't be extreme populism. So I am more than happy to share with you stories about some of the heroic figures I encountered during the war years."

"When mentioning heroes, you might think they're ones who courageously charged ahead on the battlefield. Boy, I see you, that's what you're thinking, isn't it?"

Steve pointed his shield at a boy who sat in the front row. The boy nodded vigorously and said in a childish voice, "That's right, just like you. You must have knocked down many enemies on the battlefield, right?"

"Yes, such brave warriors indeed deserve to be called heroes. But today, I must introduce you to another type of hero. Most of you have never heard of them."

"The story begins with a young woman I knew named Jenny. She was a textile worker at a factory. The uniforms she produced for soldiers in the Pacific War are still on display in museums. We call them the unsung heroes…"

Afterwards, Captain America eloquently told the passengers a story of a textile worker named Jenny, which was a testament to the tireless efforts of workers supplying resources to the front lines during World War II.

"The US around World War II boasted an extremely hardworking and united generation. It's them who shouldered America through its golden age. Even today, their descendants are still reaping the benefits."

"They were not only smart businessmen, genius scientists, and strong warriors but were also ordinary factory workers and office workers who you could see everywhere on the street. They were our grandfathers and grandmothers, our parents."

When Steve said this, quite a few tourists had already started tearing up. That era indeed feels so far away, yet it isn't.

The posters hanging in the tool shed, the faded over-washed work clothes, even the traces of bearings in the garage that were repeatedly cleaned and polished, they all are badges left by the previous generation of Americans.

And now, standing in front of them was Captain America in the flesh.

This is a young country. Every inch of the land and everyone living on it are being illuminated by the afterglow of bygone days for the first time. They are also experiencing for the first time the continuous order of human inheritance and feeling the heart-shaking power.

"Twilight is the herald of dawn, not of night." Steve said, "When you see the traces they've left, don't forget they're still watching you, watching this country, watching the future of human society. Please remember them and don't let them down."

When his voice fell, thunderous applause erupted inside the cabin. All the crew rushed in, cheering around Captain America.

Most people participating in the Liberty Square cruise project came for patriotism education. They were predominantly patriots, so Captain America, who symbolizes the American spirit, was extremely popular.

Until the boat docked, all the tourists surrounded Captain America for his autograph and photos. Steve could hardly get off the boat.

Finally breaking free of the crowd, Steve spotted Stark's figure behind the neighboring shrubs.

"Let's go, to Future World, that's my home field." Stark tossed his head and said.

"No more carousel rides?" Steve asked with a smile.

"All right, mighty generous of you Stark, to give you a glimpse." Stark tossed his head again and said, "Let's go!"

Following the tour order, Shiller and Lucifer also arrived at Fantasyland, which was, in fact, the most juvenile area in the entire park, with most of the attractions indoor, and they were evidently for kids to play.

But that did not stop it from having the carousel, Peter Pan's Flight, and It's a Small World, among other classic attractions.

As soon as they walked in, they saw Mickey and Minnie, who had just returned from the float parade, distributing candy to the kids together.

Minnie wore a pink dress, carried a red picnic cloth basket in her hand, and she still had a big bow on her head, continuously waving at the kids.

Mickey was dressed in a black tuxedo, wore gloves, and even held a cane in his hand, apparently playing the gentlemanly role.

The Disney performers were extremely dedicated, Minnie deliberately walked in a catwalk style, the hand carrying the basket kept turning outwards, frequently blowing kisses to all sides, and Mickey walked with his fists clenched, elbows forward, stepping like a gentleman, occasionally shaking his knees, pushing his glasses, and pointing around with his cane.

Taking pictures had to be queued, but Shiller and Lucifer didn't intend to stand next to the character for a group photo, they just planned to get a bit closer and take a panoramic shot.

Just as Shiller was intently staring at his cell phone, a series of laughs and screams came from behind him, and two kids playing and running jumped past him.

To avoid them, Shiller quickly stepped forward, but there was a large group of kids behind him, so he had to squeeze forward until he bent the safety railing's red straps.

Mickey hurriedly came over, waved his hand and shouted in Shiller's direction, "Oh, kids, be careful! I guess you wouldn't want to bang your head on the railing like Goofy and get a bump as big as a cactus."

Minnie also hurriedly came over and said, "Hey, kids, don't run! Be careful not to dirty your beautiful shoes, you have to adjust the headband and keep it straight, Minnie likes to play with neatly dressed kids the most!"

After the group of kids ran away, Shiller wanted to return to his original position, but he found that Mickey had come over, intentionally twisting his neck and whispering in his ear.

"Don't look for me next time something like this happens, my house is now filled with crystal globes filled with killers, Goofy tripped over them and fell, Donald got lost, and Minnie almost dirtied her shoes!"

"But if you want to build a theme park across the universe, you know where to find me."

Shiller looked over in shock, but Mickey had already wobbled away, waved goodbye to the kids, and winked in Shiller's direction.

Sitting on the Peter Pan's Flight train, Shiller was still not recovered from the shock.

Was that just the real big boss? Or Walt Disney?

Then Shiller's attention was all on the last sentence Mickey said, he just had one thought now - oh no, this has lightened up a wild dream in my heart.

Next, Lucifer found that Shiller was a bit excited. While riding Peter Pan's Flight, It's a Small World and The Little Mermaid Voyage, Shiller was passionately talking about Battleworld's future planning.

"I believe we can indeed build a theme park, just like this park, it can be divided into various themed areas, graded by age. This will not only attract adult participants but also introduce minors appropriately. All we have to do is adjust the grading so that they won't see what they shouldn't."

"The park's performers don't necessarily have to be transferred from other worlds, we can let the participants play their roles for one-to-one real-life restoration."

"For example, we can definitely build a real Gotham and let people explore it in various identities..."

"Wait, stop!!!" Lucifer immediately raised his voice and said, "Are you sure it's an adventure? Can't we just not associate 'Gotham' with 'adventure', a word with such a fairy tale sense?"

"It's just an example, doesn't have to be Gotham."

But clearly, Shiller's face spelled out, "Not only do I want to build Gotham, but I also plan to build an ultimate version and stuff in there at least 200 pairs of Batman and Joker, and squeeze in more than a hundred Riddlers and their trophies."

Lucifer slapped his forehead.

"By the way, wouldn't a theme park spanning worlds and various universes be a good cultural opportunity?" Shiller rubbed his hands and said, "Any country or city that wants to promote its civilization can come and advertise."

"We'll designate hot maps based on the number of people selecting them and auction off the advertising rights. Later, we can also solicit first, then create a custom map according to the investor's requirements to promote local tourism..."

Now, Lucifer had only one thought – a theme park, got tarnished again.
