Chapter 2703 - Chapter 1908: The Sound of Tin Can (Six)_2

"Indeed, I would expect you two to be friends, you're a lot alike," the Ultimate Iron Man shook his head and said, "But even if I'm not a hero anymore, I must have had a reason to kill him, right? What could killing him possibly benefit me?"

"But... "

Shiller glanced at his phone again, seemingly still wrestling with Spider Man's words, but the Ultimate Iron Man stepped forward, gripped his wrist, and said: "I think I now understand what's going on, Shiller. I hope you can help me with this."

Indeed, Shiller's attention was immediately caught. He asked, "What's the matter, is there something you're not telling me?"

Ultimate Iron Man rubbed his temple and revealed a rather embarrassed expression. Then he said, "I must confess that my method of getting here wasn't entirely honorable; I used the channels of the Spider Totem."

"When I suggested that I wanted to come here, Spider Man was strongly against it. And rightly so; after all, only Spider Man can travel through the paths of the Spider Totem. If he allowed me to come here, it would be a complete misuse of public resources, an act of corruption."

"He is an incredibly righteous kid, so he was really unwilling to do it. I was probably just a little too impatient at the time, like you were before, and we ended up in a bit of a disagreement."

Ultimate Iron Man sighed, slightly furrowing his brow to reveal a hint of sadness. He said, "I thought this was all behind us, but on further reflection, I realize that I never properly apologized to Spider Man. It was my fault, so him being upset is normal."

"So, you're saying Spider Man is resentful that you used the Spider path and therefore spoke ill of you to me?"

"That is certainly not what I meant." The Ultimate Iron Man widened his eyes and took a few steps back. "Spider Man wouldn't talk behind someone's back. Don't you know him? He's an incredibly moral person!"

"But if he's not satisfied, it's natural that his words might be directed at me. I don't understand why he's so certain I killed Captain America, assuming Captain America is really dead."

Shiller frowned, thought for a moment, and put his phone back in his pocket. "I'm sorry, but I think I need a moment to cool down. I'll leave now."

After Shiller left, the Ultimate Iron Man quickly opened the Spider App and threatened Spider Man, insinuating that Shiller and he were on the same side.

Amazing Spider Man was clearly not familiar enough with the mysterious Dr. Shiller, and his warning only brought more doubt instead of clarity.

Having resolved the issue, the Ultimate Iron Man didn't stop. He realized the seed of suspicion had been planted, and the dam would break sooner or later. He needed to act and prevent any leaks.

As expected, about a few hours later, he heard from Mrs. Nashi that Shiller had approached a businessman whom the Ultimate Iron Man had once passed on Owen's clues to, and discovered that the clues offered by the businessman did not match what the Ultimate Iron Man had conveyed.

The Ultimate Iron Man's gaze grew stern. He no longer tried to placate Shiller, nor did he try to make up new lies to cover up the debunked ones; instead, he boarded a spaceship bound for Centaurus.

Upon landing, the Ultimate Iron Man killed all the aliens on the spaceship, furiously working away in the shadows of a very secluded asteroid, using materials he had already chosen and incorporated inside a stolen cargo ship, exactly to launch the research.

About ten hours later, the Ultimate Iron Man, adorned in silver armor, cornered a figure clad in purple tights and a green shawl in the narrow alley behind a tavern on the main street of Centaurus's helix star.

"Are you Owen?" Ultimate Iron Man asked.

"I… Tony Stark?!" The startled figure recognized the Ultimate Iron Man's name when he turned around, but this caused more confusion for the Ultimate Iron Man.

"Hasn't Shiller's brother never returned to Earth? How would he know Iron Man?"

Having instantly checked the tracking device on his arm and noticing that the highlighted red dot was quickly getting closer, he knew he couldn't linger any longer.

Thus, without waiting for the Molecule Man Owen to speak, the Ultimate Iron Man directed his specially equipped arm towards Owen.

Owen saw the danger and backed away, trying to run, but in an instant, the Symbiotic Factor spreading out from the arm formed a kind of unique structure that made a cage, completely encapsulating Owen inside.

Owen could control molecules, but he couldn't control the offspring factors of the symbiont. This was a very special particle that didn't count as a molecule at the micro level, leaving Owen powerless against the cage.

Seeing the approaching spaceship in mid-air, Ultimate Iron Man, without giving it another thought, rushed to the skies with Owen's cage at the highest speed and flew straight towards the asteroid where his own spaceship was parked.

As the spaceship behind him was hot on his trail, inside his cockpit, the Ultimate Iron Man could see the livid face of Shiller.

He landed on the asteroid as quickly as possible and rushed into the spaceship he had modified into a base.

When Shiller walked in, he saw the Ultimate Iron Man glaring at the silver cage in front of him, which slowly floated up to hang in the air between them.

"What are you doing?! Tony Stark! Let him go!! You damned, despicable..."
