Chapter 2646 - Chapter 1860: The Journey of the Madman (Part 36)_1

It turned out that an angry woman is not to be messed with, a furious Black Widow is even more terrifying, and an incensed Black Widow wielding Mjölnir is utterly unstoppable.

At a speed comparable to a supersonic jet, the car suddenly appeared overhead of the Laboratory of High Energy Physics. As it dropped straight down, Coulson cried out in pain from the seatbelts' restraint.

Natasha, clutching Mjölnir, quickly strode into the laboratory. The security guard at the entrance attempted to stop her. With a "crack," he looked down at his instantly electrified phone emitting dark smoke before he slowly collapsed.

Natasha was like a thunderstorm, wherever she passed, anyone who dared to look at her was treated to a fully charged electronic device. Bolts of lightning plummeted from the New York sky, landing one by one until Natasha stormed into Dr. Banner's laboratory.

Bruce Banner turned around and stared blankly at the secret agent who had suddenly burst into his lab. He opened his mouth to say something, only to hear a "crack". A lightning bolt descended from the sky, rendering Banner soot-black as he slowly collapsed.

Betty, who had just entered the lab, screamed. Natasha paid her no attention. With arms outstretched, the Power of Thunder engulfed her body completely, and she jumped through the second-floor window, got into her electrifying car, and drive directly to Stark's hospital.

Before Stark managed to regain consciousness, there were two "crackling" sounds and both man and Mecha were blackened.

Then the car landed at Thor's hospital. Thor saw an enraged woman walking towards him, holding a familiar hammer.

"Hey! How can you pick up..."

"Crack!"

The Warriors Three, who just arrived at the entrance of the sickroom, were taken aback. They eyed Natasha, glowing with the Power of Thunder, then looked at Thor lying on the bed, unconscious from the lightning strike and exclaimed, "Father of All Gods..."

"Come out! Come out! Do you want to test how much more lightning strike you can stand?!" Natasha shouted at the open air.

But there was only silence in front of her. She knew the other party was hiding, probably using methods far beyond her imagination.

Natasha took a deep breath, put down the hammer, and walked toward the door of the sickroom. The Warriors Three tried to keep her back, or to at least hold onto the hammer. However, Natasha lifted the hammer as if to attack them, and the three men quickly took cover behind Thor's bed.

After Natasha left, the Warriors Three looked at each other with confusion. Fandral asked, "What the heck was that? How can this human woman wield Mjölnir?"

Volstagg said, "For sure, she duped Mjölnir. Only Thor, the Thunder God, can wield his own weapon."

"Mjölnir!" Thor woke up as if he had just had a nightmare, sat up abruptly on the bed, and after looking around the room, said, "Why did I dream that I got knocked out by Mjölnir?"

The Warriors Three exchanged glances again, deciding not to tell Thor the truth. However, a figure appeared in the sickroom at that moment.

"My dear brother, long time no see. How have you been?" Loki smirked and stepped out from the shadows of the room.

"Loki?!" Thor stared at Loki in shock and asked, "What are you doing here? Why did you come to Earth?"

"I..." Loki arched an eyebrow and said, "Can't I just come to see you? Look at you now, tsk, tsk!"

Thor glanced at his charred body and was about to speak. Loki put a finger to his lips and said, "Oh, by the way, I wanted to remind you that being knocked out by Mjölnir wasn't an illusion."

"A human wields Thor's hammer, while you still lay there. The Father of All Gods prefers a human woman over you. How sad."

Thor slammed his fist onto the bed board in anger and bitterly said, "This is unthinkable! Mjölnir, the weapon forged from the Stellar Nucleus, won't surrender to a human!"

"But the fact remains. So what can you do about it?" Loki shrugged and said, "Oh, and another piece of bad news: The Father of All Gods has fallen into a deep sleep, and because of your reckless actions, Jotunheim has launched a major attack on Asgard."

"What?!!" Thor struggled to get up from the bed.

"Just kidding." Loki rolled his eyes and added, "Actually, Asgard is tranquil without you. Finally, the Father of All Gods can get a good sleep. You're not the savior of Asgard, no one cares whether you return or not."

As he walked towards the exit, Loki continued, "I should ask this female Thor if she wishes to join the next expedition of Asgard. After all, she now owns Mjölnir, that gives her the right."

"Take care, Thor. Get well soon... not that it will do you any good."

With that, Loki walked out, leaving Thor alone and immobilized in the sickroom.

"No, it's not like that. I'm Asgard's best warrior, the Father of All Gods needs me. How could I...how could I..."

In the darkness, Thor heard a voice – Retrieve Mjölnir, take back his weapon. The human woman is not worthy of wielding a weapon which belonged to a mighty warrior, Mjölnir is mine!

"Thor! Thor! What's wrong with you?"

In the Warriors Three's cries, Thor slowly came back to his senses. Against the light, no one saw a strange purple light flash in Thor's eyes.
