The Robins rushed out of the building, onto the ground of Sky Island, and while looking upwards, they said, "It seems like we have activated a protective shield that is keeping us safe in space."
Meanwhile, the scientists from the other universe watching from the screen had exploded into uproar, the Grand Mages banged their tables and shouted.
"We've said it before that this is another version of the Magic Defense Network! They just failed to correctly utilize this power and didn't activate it with the correct method. Now it's unleashed!"
Like the Grand Mages said, at this point, an ever-changing dark protective shield was formed above the Sky Fortress. If one took a closer look, they would notice that there was a subtle link between the massive Gotham metal below Sky Island and the protective shield - the shield was a projection of the power within the metal.
Constantine was somewhat stunned as he looked skyward, "I didn't expect it to take this form, it's not any of the known forces in the Earth's mystic world, it looks more like a more primal darkness…"
