Chapter 2190 - Chapter 1482: The Bird Returns (27)_3

"Allow me, Lady." Bruce took the materials from Lady Shangdu's hand and began to draw a huge magic array on the ground of the garden with an extremely fluid movement.

Bruce's hand was very steady, pausing in the interval of the sketches to think. Lady Shangdu became somewhat entranced as she and Bruce discussed the roles of these parallel and amplifying runes, refining them to perfection.

After the magic array was drawn, Lady Shangdu flew up to overlook the fruit of their labor. The enormous array was incredibly complex, full of intricate ancient runes. Lady Shangdu could only understand a fraction of it.

Upon landing, she exclaimed, "Truly, a good teacher produces an excellent student. I have never seen a young mage with such profound knowledge as you or, should I say, your ritual skills are second to none in the entire magic realm."

"You flatter me, Lady. Let's begin."

Lady Shangdu nodded then she raised her hand, and the green Forest Power poured into the magic array.

In Hell, Beelzebub's palace was a bustling feast.

Countless gifts from demon generals piled into a mountain. Blood from the fountain splashed onto the bone-paved road, with all sorts of demons singing and dancing enthusiastically.

However, Beelzebub, the ruler on the throne, glared at the small figures standing before him with great discontent. He snorted, "Batman received my invitation but did not come himself. Instead, he sent you human whelps! He completely disregards the lord of hell!"

Standing before him were the three Robins, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Red Robin, who swallowed nervously.

The impact of facing the Demon King was not light. When dozens of eyes from Beelzebub's massive demonic figure were simultaneously fixed on them, the pressure increased significantly.

"Batman indeed could not come personally, but we can offer congratulations on his behalf..." Nightwing stepped forward.

"What could be more important than my celebration?!"

When Beelzebub's booming voice echoed through the palace, the Robins noticed the demons' glances growing unfriendly.

Just as the demon generals began to close in, Beelzebub on the throne suddenly paused and mumbled, "Who?"

"Who is summoning me? I don't have a proxy, do I?" Beelzebub's puzzled voice filled the air, followed by his slightly irritated remark, "I have important matters. Wait!"

Suddenly, Beelzebub's expression froze. A black whirlpool appeared on the right side of his body, as if something had grabbed the corner of his massive foggy figure, causing him to lean to one side.

Under the watchful eyes of the Robins and countless demon generals, Beelzebub's entire demonic form was abruptly pulled away, causing the entire Demon King's palace to shake.

In Andrew's mage tower, Lady Shangdu, glowing with green light and pressing her hands on the magic array, turned her head and pleaded desperately with the hastily approaching Master Andrew, "Andrew! Help me! My power is not enough, but I can't let go. If this continues, I will be drained!!!"

Andrew hastily stepped forward, raising his magic wand. Intense light shot from the top of the wand, infusing the magic array with dense energy. He meant to disrupt the runes, thereby deactivating the array, but the next second, he too was stuck, unable to move, trapped in the same situation as Lady Shangdu.

With more energy being infused, numerous parallel runes began to activate, 2 became 4, 4 turned into 8, 8 transformed into 16. The exponential growth and countless amplifying runes connected in series made the array reach a terrifying level.

A huge whirlpool appeared at the top of the mage tower, and the powerful Demon Power poured out, painting the entire sky black."

At the moment when the output of the magic array reached its maximum, a "boom" echoed as a giant demon with dozens of eyes plunged down, followed by demon generals.

The last to fall, the Robins got up dizzily, looked at a vaguely familiar figure, and headed towards the largest of the demons.

The fallen Beelzebub, opening his numerous eyes, found himself staring blankly at Batman.

Then he heard Batman say:

"My apologies, Beelzebub's majesty, I really didn't have time to attend your daughter's wedding, so I had to bring you here."

"Additionally, on this joyous occasion, would you be interested in selecting a Pope from the world to share your burdens?"
