Chapter 2105 - Chapter 1417: Return of the Old Days (16)_1

In the space filled with dense gray mist, two god-like beings stared at each other, the one with the quill, despite his old face, still had doubts about the black sun hanging in front of him.

Loki, the God of Stories, is a uniquely special being in the cosmos. He governs all the stories in the universe, creating stories, listening to stories, feeling stories. He is both the child and the father of all stories. Hence, whenever a story is written, it is also inscribed into his soul.

A recent absurd, bizarre, and terrifying story caught his attention. There are too many terrifying stories in the cosmos, but most are fragmented and chaotic. Each story contains a ghost, all varied and different but not knowing each other, often hurting the race that created the story.

Yet, the story that Loki, the God of Stories, recently heard was different from other horror stories; there was order amidst the chaos. Numerous terrifying entities had their names, and even familial relationships, weaving together a complex relationship network with their symbols, characters, and hobbies.

However, within this order lay utter disorder. They never intended to intentionally harm any intelligent lifeforms. They simply stayed quietly in the depths of the stars, and any madness encountered by those who seek the truth was self-inflicted.

Putting this aside, from Englewood to the end of the dreamworld, this ups and downs of the story piqued the curiosity of the God of Stories. He wanted to know if there was really something in the depths of the stars.

So, he came and saw the black sun hung high above, terrifying, majestic and magnificent.

However, no matter how Loki, the God of Stories, investigated, there always seemed to be a thick barrier between him and the beings in the depths of the stars.

He couldn't approach them or observe them, and he had no idea how to respond to the call of the stars.

The story he received did not mention this matter, and there were no similar tricks in all other stories.

This was incredible because if anyone had touched the stars, Loki, the God of Stories, could surely find traces in the myriad stories he had heard.

Just as Loki, the God of Stories, was feeling perplexed, another story caught his attention. This story was from another cosmos, where he himself existed.

"A burst of light flashed, and Shiller woke up from somewhat bewildered drowsiness. Outside the bedroom window of the Fairy Palace he could see the bright energy tail flame at the engine mouth of the Shi'ar Empire's royal spaceship as it slowed down to land.

This is strange, Shiller thought, the Queen and King of the Shi'ar Empire even came personally to congratulate, and they came earlier than the other two empires…"

A suspenseful and intriguing story.

This story came from another versus where he existed, inevitably adding a bit more mystery to the tale—who was in this cosmos that so many parties struggled over here in this way?

While Loki, God of Stories, focused on this universe, he heard all the stories of this cosmos, and many familiar interferences filled the stories— "God of Stories! Thor has locked me up! Help!"

Shiller, or should I say, Greed, who concentrated on the black sun suddenly heard a call from inside the tower.

"Greed, Greed, please report to the tower as soon as you hear the broadcast. Please report to the tower broadcasting station right after you hear the broadcast!"

Shiller was a bit impatient to withdraw his consciousness and then sank down into the High Tower again, took the elevator to the floor of the broadcasting station. As soon as he opened the door, he saw another Shiller with green skin shouting from the broadcasting desk.

"Greed, Greed, if you hear the… oh, you're here."

"What's up, Skrulls? What's the rush? I'm busy." Greed asked.

The Shiller addressed as Skrulls came forward and said, "I'm not looking for you, it's Nick. He's gone crazy searching for you. You best hurry up."

"But I still have things to do." Shiller frowned and crossed his arms, "What could be so urgent that he needs me? If it's about this issue's psychological evaluation report, why don't you give it to him? Aren't you currently at the Time Management Bureau?"

"If that's the case, I wouldn't have come to you." Skrulls shook his head and said, "Don't you know? It has to be about funding or extension to your old plans, because he's been swearing for half an hour now. I really can't take it anymore. You better go over there."

Greed helplessly shook his head, and he was about to say that they should switch shifts when he felt a movement next to the body located in Hell's Kitchen Clinic.

At the time, he pretended to fall asleep because he found the TV drama to be too boring. But now, Peter Parker was shaking his body, wanting to play the newly released co-op games with him. Shiller had at most three seconds left to wake up; otherwise, Peter and Steve would most definitely accuse him to Stark, exposing him.

So, Greed rushed to the broadcasting desk and began to shout, "Arrogant! Arrogant! Arrogant are you there? Please get to the broadcasting station as soon as you hear the broadcast, please get to the broadcasting station as soon as you hear the broadcast!"

Soon, a disgruntled Arrogant appeared at the door of the broadcasting station, and Greed stood up from the front of the broadcasting desk and said, "Quickly, take my shift! I swear this is the last time this month. Please!"
