Chapter 2030 - Chapter 1368: Feast Mystery (Eighteen)_1

"The Fairy Palace, also known as Odin's Golden Palace," Shiller shook his head, "The Nine Realms belong to Odin, everything that happens here does not escape Odin's eyes, even if he is no longer the Divine King, the raven still brings him news."

"So, what? In fact, this queen of the Shi'ar Empire hasn't said much, right?" Wanda shook her head somewhat puzzled.

"First of all, pointing out the affairs of the Divine King is quite impolite to begin with. If Her Majesty Lilandra criticizes Odin, it's not a big deal. What's terrifying is that she agrees with Odin."

"Isn't agreeing a good thing?" asked Wanda.

Shiller sighed, "Do you think this queen of the Shi'ar Empire is a good emperor?"

Wanda gave a conflicting expression. Because of Lilandra's relationship with Charles, Wanda's initial impression of the Queen wasn't bad, but she still couldn't deceive herself, so she could only tell the truth.

"Honestly, even though I've never been an emperor, I know that someone who hesitates, gets stuck over small matters for three days, is not fit to be an emperor, even being a company leader is barely possible."

Shiller nodded and said:

"The worst thing for a proud person is to be praised by a fool because it means that the fool regards you as one of their own, which is the biggest insult."

"Moreover...." Shiller sighed again, "Odin feels guilty inside about Hela. His guidance of his first-born child wasn't as dedicated as it should have been, too obvious of a mistake that he couldn't even lie to himself."

"Also, consider a father who used to be a tyrant; how he beats or scolds his child is his business, but if an outsider dares to give directions...Remember your father, Wanda."

Wanda immediately understood, she shivered, "Never mind giving directions, I am still worried that Magneto will kill Jarvis."

While they were talking, the atmosphere in the room changed again. Lilandra was crying for some reason, Charles comforted her, and the two continued their conversation, no longer in the stiff atmosphere.

"It seems that Professor Charles still has feelings for Lilandra?" Wanda, with her arms crossed and her facial features scrunched up, said worriedly, "Looking at it this way, this woman just wants to use him. What if Professor Charles is deceived by her?"

But Shiller and Strange both laughed, even the Rocket Raccoon in Shiller's arms shook its head and sighed. Wanda was laughed at inexplicably and turned back to look at them perplexed.

"The young lady, you haven't realized that they both want to use each other, old flames rekindling? That's pure bullshit!" The raccoon squirted out.

"Wanda, I'm afraid Professor Charles's moral bottom line is a bit lower than you think," Shiller made a gesture with two fingers.

Wanda widened her eyes, about to retort, Shiller immediately said, "Yes, that's right, towards humans, especially ordinary people, he is almost a saint. But that's because when he couldn't control his mind-reading technique, he got too polluted by human thoughts, so his stand tilted towards them."

"In general, he is also a human supremacist, his moral standards only apply in the human race, if the other party isn't a human.." Shiller shook his head, "Why don't you think about when Dark Phoenix went mad, destroying an entire galaxy, killing many aliens, how did Professor Charles adamantly disagreed with the judging of the Shi'ar Empire?"

Wanda paused, then came to her senses, indeed Shiller's words were reasonable. At the time, Professor X was caught between his love and the human race's stand, choosing the human race, he and Lilandra are not much different, nobody is better than anyone.

Besides, Wanda had always one question, she found out early that the relationship between Magneto and Professor X was not as bad as the newspapers described. In private, they couldn't say they are deadly enemies, it is more like a harmonious relationship.

If Professor X was really just a pure and kind saint, how could he get along so well with Magneto?

Wanda sighed silently in her heart. As it turns out, Professor X also mixed black and white, even the black part may be darker than Magneto's, the world is too crazy.

"Lan, how you deal with the M'Kraan Crystal has nothing to do with me. I don't need any more power, so trust me, I'm advising you from a neutral standpoint, you must destroy it!"

Lilandra said with her head bowed and clearly in pain, "You make it sound easy, how do I destroy it, and how can I ensure that when I destroy it, I won't destroy our universe?"

"That is indeed a problem." Charles also frowning, showed a worried expression, as if he was stumped but suddenly elevated his head and looked at Lilandra: "Would there be a problem if we just simply moved it?"

"What are you up to?" Lilandra looked at him.

"If destroying it risks too much, consider hiding it somewhere where only you know, and nobody else. This way, even if others want to, they can't study it, and you know the dangers of it, you won't touch it ... this seems to be the best method."

Lilandra grasped at straws, and she immediately stared at Charles, asking, "If it really could be done, perhaps it would be the best choice. But how would I move it, and where would I hide it?"

Charles sighed and looked back at Lilandra, "Can't you find a single trustworthy person in the Shi'ar Empire? Are you planning to rely entirely on us?"

Lilandra showed an embarrassed expression. Just from observing her demeanor, Charles knew that she must have made a mess of the internal affairs of the Shi'ar Empire.

This queen, who has been on the throne for several years, remained an outsider in her own kingdom, unable to find a reliable, competent person to serve her interests.

"Your Majesty, you give us too much credit. The human race has only just begun planning to venture beyond its home planet. We haven't even built a spaceship yet. And you're expecting us to help you move something of that size and find a place to hide it? Do you believe we're capable of such a massive undertaking?"

"I'm not entirely relying on you." Lilandra answered, her lips pursed. "I can provide some help. All the resources within the Shi'ar Empire that I can mobilize will be at your disposal."

Charles shook his head, saying, "That is far from enough. To accomplish this, mutants alone would not suffice. It definitely requires the involvement of other powerful humans. I can only pull so many strings, you will certainly need to pay them."

Lilandra revealed a torn expression, suddenly changing the topic to say, "If many people knew of this, how could it be a secret? Furthermore, wouldn't humans be greedy for the power of the M'Kraan Crystal?"

"Can't you see the current state of humans? Do we look like we could research the M'Kraan Crystal? Apart from a very few exceptional individuals, we would probably find it difficult to even approach it, myself included." Charles readily replied.

Lilandra fell into deep thought. The strongest among humans have improved at an astonishingly quick rate. In just a few short years; the emergence of the Iron Demon God, the King of Brightness, even real Gods in the cosmos had not seen it coming, let alone a queen from a star empire.

While she knew that many humans demonstrated impressive aptitudes in certain areas—for example, Professor X was adept at mental control—their shortcomings were equally marked. Professor X, for instance, had the physical stature of an ordinary man, making it genuinely impossible for him to get close to the M'Kraan Crystal.

Humans who possessed significant physical strength might not possess research abilities, and those who could conduct research might find it difficult to even approach it. And this race has not extensively colonized other planets, they do not possess the ability to threaten the M'Kraan Crystal. As Lilandra pondered this, it seemed like a worthwhile bargain.

While the two people in the room debated, Wanda mused, "So, the queen's original intention was to have mutants and powerful humans help her hide the M'Kraan Crystal, serving as the sole owner?"

Shiller nodded and said,"This is indeed a clever move. Once the M'Kraan Crystal vanishes, those zealous nobles would cease their aggression temporarily, because they consider the Crystal more important than the queen, they would certainly focus their attention on finding the Crystal."

"At the same time, the Crystal can serve as the queen's most powerful trump card, enabling her to command the nobles or even influence the Twin Gods of Xiea."

Soon, Strange returned to the original timeline with a few others. In the room, the conversation between Professor X and Magneto was still ongoing.

Upon hearing Professor X say "think of our past", Magneto suddenly fell quiet and no longer held an aggressive attitude.

Clearly, he understood Charles' seemed to ascertain if he truly considered him to be emotionally impulsive and careless about the bigger picture.

Magneto sat casually on the sofa against the wall. He looked at Charles with his hands crossed in front of him and said, "So, you made a deal with the queen of the Shi'ar Empire? What do we have to do then?"

Charles gave a slight smirk and said, "No, we did not make a deal."

Magneto paused and then, the people outside the window heard Charles say in a serene, ripple-less tone inside the room:

"I didn't need to make a deal with her. The psychic shielding magic she was so proud of was dismantled by me by the time she uttered her second sentence ... I've already obtained the coordinates of the M'Kraan Crystal."

"Consider our past, Erik, I believe, you would know what you should do."

"What are you BOTH doing?!!"

"Where are the guards of Asgard?!! And the butler in the corridor?!! Didn't anyone see the killer?!!!"

In the middle of the ballroom, the Queen's husband, lying on the ground, yelled out: "You just allow a murder to happen? The Shi'ar Empire will not let you go!!!"

Shiller's gaze returned to the queen's body. Beyond the horrifying scar across her face, the huge hole in her chest was also particularly noticeable.

Shiller saw that on the edge of the wound, there were evident traces of charring caused by electricity.
