Today was yet another calm and peaceful day in the cosmos, or so Eternity thought as he gathered his belongings for work.
In truth, every day was calm and peaceful for him. There was so little in the cosmos that could command the attention of such a deity. Even stellar explosions and the destruction of civilizations were gentle breezes across his face…except for anything caused by Shiller.
So for Eternity, any day without Shiller was a tranquil one. It was another day when the Court of Adam Life had called for a meeting with Eternity. Eternity deliberately woke up early, planning to arrive at the meeting venue a bit sooner to catch up on the latest peculiar developments in the grand world.
Ever since he was cast out and left all alone, from anger, resentment, to self-destruction, and eventually to enjoying the chaos without restraint, this transition mainly attributed to too much trouble in the grand world.
Eternity was increasingly finding that being independent was pretty nice. Last time he attended a meeting, he heard that three of his colleagues had perished on the spot due to some ingenious ideas of a genius named Mr. Fantastic Reed from their cosmos.
At this thought, Eternity couldn't help but feel grateful—at least Shiller would protect the safety of his cosmos, even though when the cosmos was safe, Shiller was the greatest danger.
Getting lost in thought, Eternity walked toward the subway entrance passing through the grand world barrier. However, from afar, he noticed an unusual bustling crowd at the subway entrance today.
The first thing that caught his eye was a bunch of colorful Spider-Men. From Eternity's cosmic viewpoint, the whole space across was filled with countless meaningless chatter, useful information nearly squeezed out of place.
Standing in front of the Spider-Men should be Director Nick Fury of S.H.I.E.L.D, with Captain America at his side. The pair looked like teachers on a primary school field trip, continuously reminding the Spider-Men of certain precautions.
Beyond the gap between the Spider-Men was a group from Asgard, with Loki and Thor standing in the front, the Four Brave Warriors of Fairy Palace in the background, and Loki hand in hand with Helen, they appeared more like a royal family on vacation.
People from Wakanda were also noticeable. They had a small spacecraft, with spear-wielding guards protecting the ship. Above it, Tracha and Storm were deep in conversation with Professor X. Behind him, Magento was arguing with Lorna again, while siblings Wanda and Pietro looked on impassively.
Next to the mutants, a clueless Stark stood alone with a bunch of equipment, his face a clear expression of "Who am I? Where am I? What the hell am I doing?"
Closest to the gate, Shiller was chatting with the SWORD Chief, Zhengxian. Everyone behind Zhengxian was covered in a thin layer of qi, ensuring their ability to operate in the cosmos, except for one. Like some superheroes, they were wearing a life-sustaining collar.
"Don't you Eastern folks all know that mysterious qigong?" the Squirrel Girl standing next to Xu Shang-Chi said to him as she looked at the people from SWORD. "Look, they all have that mysterious qi on them. Why don't you?"
"I have it, but I don't know how to use it." Xu Shang-Chi shook his head. "I almost had a Qi deviation before, so it's better not to use it."
"Don't you want to learn how to use it?" Ben Reilly, also wearing a life-sustaining collar and floating beside Xu Shang-Chi, asked.
"I'm not interested." Xu Shang-Chi shook his head. The previous Qi deviation had left a deep shadow on him. Although he found cultivation intriguing, his life was more important.

"Have you paid an exorbitant fee for it?"
Eternity snorted, "Would my universe have been pushed out of the barrier if it weren't for you?"
"Would your universe have been pushed out of the barrier if you hadn't restarted the universe?"
"And if it weren't for you..."
"Make way! Make way! Those not boarding, make way!" Scarlett Witch Wanda pushed past Eternity with irritation, "All you ever do is argue, it's so annoying!"
"I am the source of the universe, young lady. How could you...."
"A crooked beam calls for a crooked rafter!" Scarlet Witch scolded.
Eternity stared as Scarlet Witch flew past him with Jarvis, he was about to speak when a loud shout intervened. "Magneto, you madman, I told you the secondary support group is fragile, yet you insist on disrupting it, don't you dare put the blame on me!"
Then, with whooshing sounds, a black and a green figure rushed past Eternity. Eternity was about to lecture them on manners when a huge cluster of Spider-Men bolted towards the gate, followed by a sprinting Helen and Loki and Thor trailing after her.
Watching as a long line formed at the door, Eternity had no time to figure out what they were doing, and quickly found a spot in the middle of the queue.
At this moment, he heard a cold mechanical voice from behind him: "Move over."
Eternity could no longer stand it, the starlight on his body surged, and he wanted to turn around and teach these unreasonable humans a lesson. But as soon as he turned around, he saw a figure wearing a hood and an iron mask.
Eternity swallowed his words, this one was even more formidable.
Doctor Destruction, Doom, and Mr. Fantastic, Reed, are both known as major engines of cosmic destruction. When the two of them get together and argue, the chance of cosmic destruction increases by 200%.
Just as he thought this, Eternity saw a familiar figure. Reed's lofty tone rang out, "Victor, long time no see, are you still hiding in your poor little country leading a pitiful bachelor's life?"
"Your conjectures and taunts mean nothing, Doom will teach you a lesson."

"Doom regrets your rudeness and your death."
"Hold on, stop arguing!" Eternity waved his arm, used the power of the rules to separate the two. If they continued to argue like this, one of them would surely pull out a Doomsday Engine.
Luckily, at this moment, their turn finally came. In a hurry, Eternity stood between Reed and Doom, Doom was the first to enter.
Upon entering the great world, Eternity flew in another direction without looking back. Before leaving, he said to Schiller, "Whatever you're here for, don't say which universe you come from, and don't say that you know me. Bye!"
After saying this, Eternity disappeared in an instant, as if he didn't want to stay one second longer with the terrorists from his own world, he vanished in a blink.
